I have often stayed the Romora Bay Club. Each of my stays has been a delightful experience. Great room. excellent foood, I especially like the bar and lobby...a great place to hang out...Marshall NYC

We just returned from Romora Bay Club on 3/20/04. We were very impressed by the staff. the food prepared by the Chef at the club's restaurant was absolutely outstanding and worthy of any decent restaurant in Manhattan or Paris! I would not hesitate to go there again, and I wish we could have stayed more than just a week. I have been to this island many times, and I must admit that for the money, Romora Bay is a bargain. The island is rife with the super-rich jet-set, and they can always get what they want. Romora Bay offers an incredible value for this place. It is the last of the "real Harbour Island stays". If you want cheap and easy go to Jamaica or Mexico. If you want to get a feel for how the other half lives - without paying the high price - then you must go to Romora Bay Club.

We returned from Harbour Island two days ago. We loved the island and will go back in a heartbeat. However, the Romora Bay Club was overpriced and rather shabby. Considering the price, we expected something top rate and we didn't get it. The staff was courteous but not particularly friendly, the room was ok...clean and neat, but on the shabby side. The restaurant was so expensive (although we heard the food was very good) that we never ate there. We walked into town for every meal. The grounds were lovely and the pool area pleasant, but for the cost, next time we'll stay in town somewhere that's not as pricey and has more charm. If you want some place that's really off the beaten path and very quiet, you might like it here. But if you want to get your money's worth, spend it elsewhere.

I read the reviews and cant believe the comments. We stayed at the Romora Bay for 4 days and had a great experience. We had a great view of the ocean, and dock. The walkways were almost an adventure and made you feel like you really had your own little bungalo. The owners were extremely nice. We spent one morning talking to the owner and her little girl. The staff was always nice. We had fresh flowers in our room everyday. Talking parrots in the front lounge area that were quite entertaining. A little on the pricy side, but what do you expect? Your on a little island in the middle of the ocean. Overall our experience was quite delightful.. I will definetely go back and will recommend it to others.
