This was our fourth yearly visit to this surprise oasis in the midst of the relative hub bub of Harbour Island. The Rock House has only nine rooms, each different from the other. It has a lovely pool and its' own beach a short golf cart ride away. The restaurant at the Rock House is the best on the island wth views over the busy harbor area of the island. The attention to detail present at this establishment is unparalled anywhere in the Bahamas. Simply put, we love staying here.

My husband and I just got back from 4 nights at Rock House. Rock House and Harbour Island both exceeded our expectations.

Rock House is such a cute little hotel with very nice cosy rooms. The reserved sun loungers and umbrellas at the beach are awesome. There's enough for everyone, so you can sleep in or go shopping or whatever you want and then go to the beach whenever and not worry about having to fight for a sun lounger.

We had dinner one night at the hotel. The food, service and ambiance were all very good.

Harbour Island itself is such a nice little island. It's been compared to St. Barts and, having been to St. Barts and love St. Barts, I was skeptical. But yes, it is alot like St. Barts, just quieter.

There are only a few restaurants on the island, but they're all very good.

The beach is huge and never crowded. The sand is soooo soft and it really is pink.

I can't fnd a thing negative to say about Rock House or Harbour Island. We loved our stay!

My husband and I recently celebrated our 10th anniversary at the Rock House in Harbour Island. The hotel, designed and operated by Alabama native, Wallace Tutt, is quite simply an amazing place to vacation. From the moment of our arrival, we were greeted with the warmest of welcomes and were provided impeccable service, accommodations and delicious food in a most gorgeous setting throughout our entire stay. The island is fantastic and the locals are friendly, polite and helpful. The hotel staff is a "family," and they treat you with utmost respect and discretion. Wallace has an amazing attention to detail, and I was amazed at and appreciative of the effort that he and his staff exhibit to ensure that Rock House guests enjoy every aspect of their stay. The art, decor, fresh orchids, linens and breakfast goodies are wonderful. We enjoyed fresh fruit and homemade bread, scones and yogurt each morning at the pool under the veranda. Our time at the beach was also enjoyable -- always with fresh towels, cold water and padded lounge chairs. We had everything we needed to relax and enjoy the pink sand on the island and crystal clear water in the ocean. Sunsets each evening at the Rock House are something not to miss, and the food at dinner was the best on the island. With nine rooms, the hotel offers a quaint experience and an opportunity to meet others from around the world. We eagerly await our next opportunity to experience all the wonderful amenities that the Rock House offers.

We just returned from the best vacation of all time! After reading other reviews we had high expectations, but Don and Wallace exceeded them. They make you feel at home the minute you enter their establishment. During the entire stay the staff refers to each guest on a first name basis which makes you feel right at home.

The food at Rock House is amazing, both lunch and dinner were spectacular! They will even pack you a picnic basket if you would like to go on an excursion.

We stayed in the Palm Room which overlooked the breathtaking bay. The balcony is equipped with comfortable lounge chairs to relax on while taking in the views or a serene sunset. The linens and bed define pure comfort.

Typically, we look for beach side hotels, however, we are glad we chose the Rock House. The two minute golf cart ride to the beach allows you to discover both the beauty and friendliness of the island. They provide beach chairs, umbrellas and bottled water on their own section of the beach, which is located next to Sip-Sip an excellent choice for lunch or a local cocktail.

All in all, Wallace and Don ensured that our every need was met from the moment we arrived to the minute we left. We were sad to leave this special place, and already are planning our next visit.
