Excellent accommodation but you may have a short wait before the owner arrives! This was our first B&B in Nova Scotia and I had booked ahead a few months before. When we arrived there was no one around. I eventually went to enquire at the cottage opposite. They said "Oh just go in and make yourselves comfortable he has probably left you a note, but we will ring him and let him know you have arrived". After waiting about an hour (there was no note) the owner arrived full of apologies.
No one else was staying that night so we chose a room, Fisherman's Cove. The accommodation is excellent, very clean, with each room having a theme. Allan, the owner, does not cook breakfast, he provides everything you need, eggs, milk, bread, etc for you to help yourselves. This worked well for us as we wanted to make an early start the next day.
If you are looking for accommodation in this area I would certainly recommend staying here as I cannot fault the cleanliness and excellent rates, but do not expect to be pampered by the owner.
