We stayed here in March of 2003. This hotel has a great location right on the beach in a quiet part of Loreto. All the rooms have a wonderful view of the Sea. The spacious grounds need some landscaping work but have great potential. The hotel is showing its age but, at least in our unit, the bathroom has been updated and re-modeled. Our balcony had a great view but there was no furniture to sit on. We could see that some units had plastic chairs on the balconies. The TV received only a couple of stations. The room needed a paint job and there was dirt and dead bugs in the balcony door's runners. The hotel has a nice pool and billiard room. The restaurant was very noisy with only a few tables occupied. The service was horrible. We would not eat there again. There is another restaurant a few blocks away by the marina. With a little work, this place could be very nice. With a complete re-model, it could be wonderful. The $80 room cost seemed a little high. It seemed like most of the guests were there for the fishing or were on a kayak trip.

Stayed last May 2002. The hotel is in need of work.
A freash coat of paint, new furniture in the rooms would help. The personal gave you feeling that you were bothering them. Like they had something else to do. I don't know, what the hotel appeared to have few guest.

I would stay there agian if it was they only hotel aviable. The fishing is that good!

We are coming back this June 2003 and staying at the Plaza Loreto in town.
