Hi well I was there for time #4 and once again had a great time. All of the staff are so great and we never have trouble getting anything that we need...towels, ect. Some of the rooms are better than others but that is just part of a MEXICAN TIME renovation process...I really think that it is a great place if you wanna take kids or just want to go with friends..Most people know everyone else due to owning a timeshare...(which we do)...So it is a great sense of community and GOING HOME!!!!!! Can't wait for #5 week 6....to do it all over again!!!Hola till then!!!

Our daughter and boyfriend just returned on 03/01/03 and said that the units are run-down. Also we felt that due to we own a 1-bedroom that they'd receive a 1-bedroom. No, they received a studio on road side, toilet, shower leaked, closet doors were broken etc etc. Its a shame we've been owners for 20 years.

This is a really great place to stay in Mazatlan. The staff is really friendly and do a lot to make the travelers happy. There are two pools, and you also have the option of sitting on the beach. The food is good for a snack. If you go deep sea fishing and catch a fish they will even fix it up for you. They really go out of their way to make you happy. It is truely a great place to go if you are looking for a quite relaxing vacation.

Eighteen years at Balboa Towers. I am a timeshare owner. It still is our home in Mazatlan, but, the facilities have not been kept up to standards it portends to have. Kitchens are substandard, no utensils, pots pans, refrigerators and stoves are old and rusty. Bathrooms are also rundown, towels are threadbare or non existant at times. Tennis use is not available anymore. Restaurant is good, but it is a separate owner. We still look forward to our stay at BT but would not recommend it to others. Better to stay at Inn @ Mazatlan or other hotels close by.
