I read another review that was our experience...the second we come in the door with suitcases, exhausted having moved from another motel that day, a "shark" attacked. She would not leave us alone, and I pretty much unloaded on her. LEAVE US ALONE UNTIL WE HAVE CHECKED IN! "I'm just doing my job" Well, do your job when I'm DONE checking in, for crying out loud. She finally backed off. Well, first night there, we noticed bites. Hadn't seen a mosquito or any bugs so we went to the front desk and showed them our bites. They immediately blamed mosquitos (right...we're on the ocean)and ran up to fumigate the room. They pulled back the beds and sprayed all over the place. We left while they did this. They left the can of Raid on the desk and we did use it again. Hope I didn't get too poisoned. I really should have asked for some of the money to be reimbursed for our trouble with this. The shower sucked and it needs a new head. It sprayed all over, everywhere except my body and hair. Now...for the GREAT stuff!!!! We were in room 360. It was on the end in the Garden Rooms. We could see the garden AND the beach. It was great. The pool area is right next to the beach. Very nice. Food was good at the restaurant. Another thing that bugged me about my room was the placement. Was nice to have the breeze coming through, but the door to the deck was right in line with the front door. People walking by the door and also across from us in the other building. I had to pretty much keep everything closed if I was dressing. Totally unlike the El Moro Tower. Much more private feeling. I don't think I'd go back to the Costa, but probably would find another place along there with a great beach placement next to the resort like this one.
