I stayed here expecting to receive so so service. However, upon arrival my boyfriend and I were upgraded to a suite and from then on we were treated great!! The hotel wait staff was extremely helpful and the restaurant had great food. I didn't notice the noise of the discos...usually I stay at budget hotels and I am all night partying, however this hotel was so relaxing that I ended up hanging out at the pool all day!!!! I highly recommend staying here!!!

this hotel it not very modern, it has no ice machines at all. the coffee machine is quite used and they charge you to use it. ( it should be a guest privilge ) i was not at all impressed with the bathroom, it felt like i was in a shower at high school. the t.v made a strange sound and the radio has alot of static. the food was not all that great. the closet needed airfreshers, and not enough space to fit your clothes. the front desk staff wasn't all that pleasant. if i'm on vacation i want my drinks
in a glass not plastic cups. one of the waiters javier was very nice. i always found little ants on the bath-room sink, i didn't leave anything on it. i would not go back to that hotel and not suggest it to anyone else.

I have been there about 2 years ago and I have to tell you I was somewhat dissappointed. The rooms are spacy but lack modernization. The air condition wasn't working and everything just seem old. However, they had great continental breakfast which came with a package i purchase. The resort pertains to mostly natives (families). There are alot of children around the resort, so if you like little more privacy I suggest higher end hotels.

I just returned from a week at the Riviera. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The room was very clean. The resturant had very good food. We talked to people staying there that have been coming back for years. The view from the resort is like a picture. We did hear street noices all night long, but we decided that it was no big deal. We were so tired at night that we slept through it.
I can't wait until next winter. We will return to this resort. It an excellent value and the staff made us feel very special.
