“Relaxing place”

We stayed here from April 29 to May 4. This is a good place to just sit and relax, the pool area is nice, clean and enjoyable. The grounds are beautiful as well. The area facing the beach is the best though, relaxing under the shade, listening to the surf pounding and sipping GREAT margaritas made for a relaxed vacation.
The villas are very nice, has a kitchen but we didnt use anything
except the microwave and the refrigerator. We enjoyed breakfast in the restaurant ( which also has a great view of the water) . The food was okay, nothing really stood out. The place could be a little cleaner, but I hate to complain because I understand it is hard to keep windows sparkling when located at the ocean. The staff were
all very helpful and nice. If you want glitz and glamour this might not be the spot but for a relaxed, enjoyable trip it was just what I wanted.
I want to point out that the beds are all upstairs and so is the restaurant so if you are with mobility impaired folks it might be difficult, although they will serve you outside , which was also very enjoyable.

I stayed at El Rancho Villas with my family for spring break and we had a great time. The quality of service and the food was outstanding! It was definitely a great place for a family with young children. I would recommend this place without hesitation.

“Our Paradise”

We have been drawn to El Rancho for over 15 years. Over the
years we have experienced other locations in Mexico and the
world but this is like coming home. The staff here treats you
like family. You can stay in a villa in the garden and walk out
to the sound of birds and beautiful foliage; walk out to the pool
and hot tub that is always pristine; then walk out to the ocean and
sit on the grass and watch the waves take your thoughts away.
All this on one level.

The Fonda restaurant with Lupita as the main cook and the bar
with Jose as the main margarita maker never fails to satisfy your
tastes and thirst. Our family with two young children never got
bored with the pool and endless pina colodas sans alcohol.

The villas capture the Mexican culture and provide
a fully workable kitchen. Clean and comfortable for just two or
a family of six. Yes, this is our paradise and we feel blessed
to wake up in this environment.

i speent 4 days in the hotel, and the service was excellent room nice and a beatifull beach view, the food is very good and the margaritas too. i would recomended as a good hotel.

For my last trip to Mazatlan my wife and I decide to stay in a different hotel and i must to say that we found this just perfect.

The concept is quite interesting because it's a small resort, by pictures is seams nice but being there was even better.

Beautiful green areas. We took so much advantage of our villa, it was so big and comfortable. Like having our own house right on the beach. The villa in general is very clean, the staff was friendly and helpful and we could enjoyed so much our time with our children. During our stay we took a tour to mexcaltita island, i highly recommend this tour specially when the streets are totally flooded. Magic experience.. my kids loved it!!!

This was our 3rd trip to Mazatlan but this last trip was simply amazing. We hope to come back this summer.
