Just returned from a ten day stay with Cap,n Moe and Dorothy at their B&B in Mazatlan. Had a wonderful time! The location is close to the beaches and bus lines. Breakfast in their outdoor patio-courtyard with the flowers and hummingbirds was delightful. Their knowledge of local restaurants and shops was invaluable. We felt like one of the family. Will go again.

I have never had such wonderful and kindhearted hosts in any bed and breakfast I have stayed in. The flavor of the country and guidance given us by Dorothy and Moe made our stay in Mazatland a fantastic and unforgettable experience.

We just returned from a week in Mazatlan. This is the second time we have stayed with Dorothy, Moe & Zoe (the dog!) at Capt. Moe's Bed & Breakfast and we will never stay anywhere else in Mazatlan. During their fabulous breakfast - anything from a quick, warm bagel with fresh fruit to a full blown omelet with all the extras, Moe and Dorothy will help you plan your day of sightseeing, shopping (old markets, the Golden Zone or the new mall) or just lying on the beach (only 3 blocks away!) In the evening, enjoy a drink in their courtyard filled with lush local flora and fauna or watch the sun sink into the Pacific from Moe's new rooftop cabana. Later, retire to a beautiful, comfortable room decorated with native art and the most comfortable bed in Mazatlan. Moe's has wifi and free long distance so you can keep track of the kids or brag to your friends. Moe and Dorothy offer the best things in life - good conversation, great food, comfortable and spacious accommodations. If you're like us, you'll not just find a great B&B, you'll find two new friends and a second home. If you visit Mazatlan and you don't spend some time at Capt. Moe's, you haven't really seen Mazatlan's best. Steve & Teresa

Staying at Captain Moe's was such a wonderful time. It was very difficult having to leave! My friends and I took advantage of the location by walking to the beach and shopping areas close by everyday. It was very accomidating. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. The court yard was a very beautiful and relaxing place to sit in the morning and eat breakfast and drink coffee that was always brewed and waiting for you. Dorthy and Moe were two very friendly and layed back people, and were always very helpful. It was by far one of the best vacations i've had . Thanks to you both..can't wait to return.
