What a great place. Quiet, warm, beautiful, with the most generous hosts, Dorothy, Moe, and Zoe. The courtyard was a beautiful haven after days of riding pulmonias, and spending time on the beach. The breakfasts were delicious/ casual/ and wonderfully prepared. Our time in Mazatlan was outstanding and I have been meaning to write a review for some time. Staying at Cap'n Moe's made the whole visit a special treat. If you want to visit Mazatlan, don't stay in the hotels on the beach, but stay where you will be treated like family, and want to return again and again. Jennie and Phil.

We only stayed at Moe's for 1 night, but what a GREAT place! We definitly plan to stay at Moe's in the future for longer. The room/bed was outstanding, compared to what we slept on for 2 weeks after that. Dorothy, Moe and Zoe were terrific hosts, Yes Zoe the dog was a terrific host while Dorothy and Moe were out, Zoe followed us around and entertained us! They provide great information and the vast amount of people that stop by add to that information! I even received a fabulous pedicure by their maid/stylist/cook! Dorothy mentioned she may be bringing in other spa services for her guests which is convenient and affordable!! Love that you can make phone calls and internet, again convenient! When you stay at a resort, you have to look for those services on your own. Great place, great people, we will be back (if the sun comes back?? LOL) Hi Wilma from Squib!! Just returned from a ten day stay with Cap,n Moe and Dorothy at their B&B in Mazatlan. Had a wonderful time! The location is close to the beaches and bus lines. Breakfast in their outdoor patio-courtyard with the flowers and hummingbirds was delightful. Their knowledge of local restaurants and shops was invaluable. We felt like one of the family. Will go again.

I have never had such wonderful and kindhearted hosts in any bed and breakfast I have stayed in. The flavor of the country and guidance given us by Dorothy and Moe made our stay in Mazatland a fantastic and unforgettable experience.
