We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Casa de Leyendas. This is a very beautifully decorated, airy and spacious accommodation. There are several areas in the Casa in which to sit and relax,and even a rooftop area where one can view the wonderful sunsets. The hosts, Sharon and Glenn Sorrie are very pleasant and helpful.Their staff are great as well. The breakfasts are both delicious and copious. The Sorries have anticipated their guests every need and wish. We look forward to our next stay, Carolyn and Nathan, Winnipeg,Manitoba , Canada

We stayed at Casa de Leyendas for a week while studying Spanish nearby in the old Historic Center of Mazatlan. It was really a wonderful experience:
- very warm and helpful owners
- friendly and knowledgeable staff
- great location practically across the street from the ocean and a couple of blocks from the Plazuela Machado
- fabulous accommodations: comfortable bed and room, delicious breakfasts, roomy facilities and the ability to bring in food/drinks at any hour
- internet and phone at no extra price
- drinkable water even from the taps in the bathroom

We usually stay a big lower-cost, and almost never in b&bs, but I have to say this place was totally worth it!

I could really go on and on about what's wonderful. The only bad thing: its proximity to a restaurant that's pretty noisy into the evening. We simply closed the windows/shutters and turned on the air conditioner to sleep, other people used earplugs (I think Sharon and Glenn will supply you if needed.) If you're there at Carnaval, I imagine there might be even more noise. Of course, it's also a really nice and cheap restaurant - ceviche mmm mmm.

Wow!!! All of the good things that everyone says about Casa de Leyendas is true! It is fabulous in every possible way!

Just last week I was in Mazatlan for a printmaking workshop and had chosen Casa de Leyendas based on the reviews here at tripadvisor. I have never seen so many positive and enthusiastic reviews. It was the perfect place to stay in Mazatlan.

Glenn & Sharon are fabulous hosts, they are friendly, helpful and offer many amenities and special services. I highly recommend Casa de Leyendas--I will never forget my stay there, truly memorable.

This is such an amazing place to stay. I loved everything about it. Glen and sharon when so helpful and nice. They sat down with us every morning and made sure we were alright and helped us plan some fun days. The food was wonderful and the service was excelent. I will be back as soon as i can. Plus Mazatlan was a beautiful place. Would recomend to anyone.
