After reading all of the reviews on here, I was excited to stay at this hotel. Unfortunately, I did not have the same experience as most others.

From the moment I entered my room, I noticed a loud thud coming from the roof - this noise occurred every minute or so, and it did not go away for the duration of my stay. I repeatedly asked for them to come look at the problem, which they did - 5 or 6 times throughout the two nights I was there - but they never fixed it. I asked them to move me after just a few hours in the room on the first day I was there but they kept saying they would send an "engineer" to fix the noise instead. Ultimately, only after I refused to have them send yet another engineer to look at my room (after the 6th time), did they finally allow me to change rooms. The worst part is that they did not once apologize for the issue and made it seem as if I was bothering them, when I was just trying to get some sleep (and I am not a light sleeper by any means). All in all, I was quite disappointed.

I have one thing to add to the many favorable reviews - the concierge was excellent.

I was travelling with two teenagers and the Concierge made sure that we had the right restaurants recommended, tickets to the folkloricko and the right tours booked.

She was sharp, in charge and helpful.

The hotel overall is perfect for family travel - the suites are comfortable, the beds great including the foldout, and you can't beat the value.

I stayed at the Embassy Suites Mexico City for four days. I choose the hotel because I was traveling with a friend, and I did not want to feel cramped in a regular hotel room. I was not dissappointed! The rooms were modern and spacious. My friend and I never felt like were in each others way. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The restaurant Evita had good food. The area is safe as well. We went out walking late at night, and did not have a problem. Always use caution though, and I guess it helped that my friend was a big guy...but do use the hotel taxi's even though they may be a bit more expensive.

Wow, What a hotel. Staff was excellent, Breakfast was very good, Evita was good for steaks. Rooms are big and beds are comfortable. Wireless works well. Starbucks on ground floor, but Breakfast coffee was some of the best I ever had. Also very safe, with safe cabs.
I will use this hotel again for my business trips to Mex. City.
