This was our fourth trip to Cancun but first to BBG. The first three were at Tucancun. We decided to try BBG because of the price and it's adult only. First of all, if topless women and adult language bother you, don't go. The language wasn't as bad as it sounds, but about 50 - 60% of the women were topless around the sexy pool and beach area. One instance of a brief flash (pardon the pun) of full nudity. It's a very open minded place. The beach wasn't as nice as Tucan Cun but were not sure how well that is either (after the huricane, we go every other year). However, I did like the fact that there were "shade trees" so you can get out of the sun but still be by the water. The sexy pool was generally busy. Never made it to the quiet pool. We just ended up setting our things (towels, drinks, etc.) by the side and sitting in the water. Chairs were hard to find, but it didn't matter. The food was good but not excellant. Never went hungry. Since we have been to Cancun 4 times we didn't book a lot of extra excursions. However, we did go on the island trip that was booked through the hotel. Excellent time, especially if you like drinking. The only down fall was the spinaker sail. They only gave each person a single time that lasted for about 60 seconds. Other than that, it was great. We stayed in room 253 and our friends in 252. Both real quiet. Also they were a good location between the sexy pool and the lobby. After walking around, we can see where some rooms might be noisy during the night. Would recommend staying at this hotel. You pretty much have to take a bus to the bars or malls. We were spoiled with Tucan because there was a mall right at it's back door. Service was excellent, especially the maid service for our rooms. Very clean and quick. Our rooms were clean by 9:00am every day. (If you leave the sign on the door) Once we get our pictures back, I might add another entry. Bottom line, if you're laid back and willing to "go with the flow" about making a few sacrifices, this is the place for you. We are going back in two years. PS - Pardon the spelling errors!!

Me and My best friend have just returned from my hols (1st May - 9th May).

RESTAURANTS - The seafood, Italian and Asian restaurant must be booked in person between 8am and 11am on the day you want to go. Food was great - three course meal in each restaurant. The other restaurants are buffets, with a wide variety of choice.

STAFF - Extremely helpful & all generally speak english

ENTERTAINMENT - In the evenings you can sit at the bar and enjoy your drinks, and there is an event each night at 9ish for an hour - dancing, acrobats beer drinking contest etc. The hotel organises entrance into a club for £20 which includes drinks and coach to the club (you have to pay on the way home - about a fiver) - A different one each night.

OTHER GUESTS - Everyone was really friendly. An abundance of american and canadian guests, but that didnt bother me at all - I met a lot of new people

THE POOL - There are two pools - The quiet pool which is exactly that and the 'sexy' pool' which plays music and has games and events throughout the day. Both pools have a swim up bar too

RECOMMENDATIONS - Make sure you have all inclusive, book the restaurants early, put your towels by the sexy pool early as it can get a little crowded

OVERALL - It was fabulous!!!!

The best time ever! I wasn't so sure after last year. Me and my boyfriend argued a couple of days on the trip...but this year made up for it!!!!! We even bought a membership into RCI...if you're interested...contact me! I'm a true believer in Blue Bay. We met wonderful people from Baltimore....Hello Gary, Judy, Kathie and Mike....and more...like Roger and Velma from anoher part of the good ol' US!!!! Pedro was our Margaritas Bartender the last two years.....tip him well.....he's the best! Have a Drunken Monkey on me! Ha...Ha! Go See Lulu at the Quiet Pool she's VERY entertaining......you'll know what I mean. The food is fine.....don't beleive the moaning and groaning of other people that think this is a 5 star resort. It's fine...not gourmet, not cruise line food...but good. Eat at the buffet in the morning. the eggs over easy are great...the omelets are a little overcooked, the sausage is weird..I reccommend the bacon and french toast and fruit. Then go have a good time at the sexy pool until lunch. Make your dinner reservations early....the reservation restaruants are great.....service is 5 star!!!! US grade 3 and !'2 star food. Upgrade to silver if your'e picky about your liquour if not ttp your bartenders and you'lll never be out of a drink.. Go topless...it's a blast!!! The motto....nobody knows you and nobody gives a [--]! IS TRUE!!!! It's kinda like Vegas! What havppens in Cancun.......stays in Cancun!!

Subject: Cancun-Blue Bay Fun

We stayed at Blue Bay from April 28 to May 5. It was our second time there so we knew what to expect. I wasn't sure if it could top last year but I think everybody would agree it did.

FOOD - was excellent, good selection, we ventured to The Outback Steakhouse one night for a steak and some hockey.

Rooms- The rooms were not bad, they are extremely clean and comfortable, they could use a fridge but oh well.

Sevice- Everybody there seems to enjoy working there and go out of there way to please.

Entertainment - Excellent as always, a chum of ours destroyed eveybody in the beer drinking contest, and there are numerous pub crawls and booze cruises to take part in.

If you are looking for a resort to get wild and party hard Blue Bay is the place to be. But also you can relax and chill out with friends too. We have already planned to return again next year.

There was however 1 disappointment on my trip, she went by the name of Brittney. I still can't get the smell of hot garbage out of my clothes.
