Having recentlly stayed at this hotel I feel it important to warn
others that may be considering staying here.
I was most disappointed upon my arrival to find that I did not have the ocean view room which I had booked and paid for 3 months prior. They tryed to stick us in a room overlooking the lobby! As refusing this I looked at 3 others and finally settled on one that would do until a move on Monday. The fridge did not work, there were holes in the ceiling where a smoke detector should have been. There were no hangers, the curtains and the shelf on the wall hung at an angle!The beds were so hard that I had to go to Walmart and purchase a foam for the bed. There was a strong sewage smell as well.
After 2 days of constant reminders about the promised move, we were
given a room poolside which was nice compared to the one we had been
in. After being settled in the new room our stay was quite enjoyable as
the staff were very nice and the food was good and most plentiful. I
did not feel alone as I watched this happen to almost everyone that had
booked in here over the 2 week period that we were there.
