I've travelled to Cozumel several times, and I really enjoy the island. This last trip, staying with Dale & Kathy at the Baldwin's Guest House was the BEST.

If you want the all-inclusive thing, with all the food, and bars, and people, great. If you want a peaceful, restfull haven, immaculately clean, with marvelous breakfasts and the most pleasant surroundings, while still 'in the little town' and experiencing a genuine Mexico vacation, than you can't do better than this.

I can't say enough, all 110% positive, about the wonderful time had with Dale & Kathy... just the best ! It's like staying with good friends, and it was tough to have to travel home. Dang.

If you are planning a trip to Cozumel stay at Baldwin's B&B. You will NOT regret a moment there. Kathy and Dale are the proprietors, and they will tend to your every need. Kathy was there to greet us as soon as we arrived at her front gate. Her recommendation for a rental car was great - we saved a lot of money by taking her advice and bypassing Avis. She provided us with a detailed map of Cozumel upon our arrival, sat down with us and pointed out the best, low-cost options for incredibly good restaurants, locations for money exchanges, local attractions such as the best (and free!) places to snorkel. By far the most outstanding part of our experience was Kathy's fantastic breakfasts! She did all the cooking - each morning out on the patio we were greeted by a platter of fresh fruit, granola and delectable yogurt, fresh squeezed orange juice and coffee. And that was only the beginning! Each morning featured a different "main course" - scrambled eggs with homefries delicately cooked with melted cheese on top, or banana pancakes, or omlettes....specialty Mexican side dishes, sausage,etc. Kathy is one great cook! No one should need to eat again until 3pm!!
She and Dale interacted with each guest in a respectful and thoughtful manner, facilitating social interaction among all of her guests. She is a GEM!! The bedrooms are immaculately clean and spacious. Her home is very safe and the neighborhood also safe. The property is a lush oasis with exotic palms, plants of every description and a delightful turtle population, peace and quiet. There is also a lovely swimming pool.Go to Baldwin's!!

We recently spent a week at the Baldwin Guest House and it was outstanding! The house is beautiful, exceptionally clean and the breakfast was sensational! Dale and Kathy go out of their way to make guests feel welcomed and they are very knowledgable about the island, the sites, diving and any other accomodations that you might be interested in. You meet the nicest people from all over the world there and you feel like one big happy family! We plan to make it an annual trip!

The Baldwin House was fabulous. We decided to give it a try after reading great reviews about it on TripAdvisor, and I'm so glad we did. Kathy and Dale were extremely helpful and our experience wouldn't have been nearly as great without them. They really understood what we were looking for and had quality advice for restaurants, activities, beaches, etc. Everything was impeccably clean, and the atmosphere around the house and gardens was very laid-back and relaxing. I felt like I had my privacy but at the same time was able to get any of the answers or help that I needed at all times. It was like a haven for English-speakers after being confused in many of our other endeavors around the island! The breakfast was amazing, great fruits every morning and a beautiful idyllic garden and courtyard to eat breakfast al fresco every morning. I would definitely go back, and I recommend it to anyone going to cozumel, old or young.
