Roswitha is great!!! We had 7 adults and 11 kids. Price is right. Fish were plenty. We will go with Roswitha again when we go back. Well worth it!

Discovered Cozumel with Roswitha Flury, the 1st of March. The absolute best time, highly recommend! Having heard that Cruise excursions can be crowded and overpriced, we went out of our comfort box and decided to book an excursion with a local dive/snorkel operator in Cozumel, Roswitha Flury. We cannot say enough good things about our experience.
Initially concerned how the cruise ship time constraints may effect our
ability to schedule outside their excursions, we found that there was
nothing to be hesitant about. The local operators (and "Rosie" has to be
one of the best) keep a close eye on cruise schedules. We had no
problem meeting our guide and making it back to the ship with time to spare.
Our day with Roswitha was everything we had hoped and more. 3 1/2
hours of snorkeling (Roswitha is a dive master) at 3 different sights. The largest Starfish we've ever seen and beautiful reefs with an extremely experienced guide (and Captain). We found paradise in Cozume!l.

Roswitha knows the island well and in addition to the snorkeling
adventure was able to advise us on where to enjoy some local drinks and food, tucked away from the tourist areas. What a great time! The memory has kept us smiling for weeks.

positive feedback which we found to be well deserved. She was easy to
contact since she has a web site of her own. We communicated thru
emails to set up the excursion. Her excitement for "sharing her island" was contagious. We couldn't wait to meet her!

truly memorable. We understand that Roswitha has a bed and breakfast that she operates as well and are hoping a future trip to Cozumel will include spending time there.

We stayed in Villas Ixchel from January 9 – 18 2005 and we had a pleasant time. Booking the place was very easy. Rosie replied promptly on my emails and answered all my questions regarding how to get to her place.
My family of 3 (1 kid almost 3yrs) were very warm welcomed to Roswitha’s place. As soon as we arrived in Villas Ixchel, Rosie greeted us with a big smile and she gave us a map and we felt right at home. Rosa is very nice, she is very well knowledgeable about the island and she is a wonderful host. She had answers for all of our questions. We rented the downstairs studio and found everything that we needed. The place was quiet, clean, private and convenient. The location is as described away from the cruse crowd and close to the downtown. We used the taxi all the time to get around. All the recommended snorkeling beaches, places to eat and things to see were exactly what we wanted. We would highly recommend that place to anybody that wants to experience the local atmosphere and to have a wonderful vacation.

We stayed with Roswitha in October of 2004 and had a WOMDERFUL time. The apartment had everthing a much more expensive hotel would have except maybe a balcony. The room was always spotless and I am a neat freak. Rosie got us a great deal on a scooter for 2 weeks and is also very knowledgeable about what to do on the island. (she is also a master diver and took me on my first dive and I loved it!!!!) If you're an "all inclusive" fan and have to have a beach or an endless view, this place is not for you. However, if you want a feel as to what the "inside" of Cozumel is like and you're on a budget...Villas Ixchel is perfect. While you're there be sure to kiss Ossa and Pascha for me!
