My husband and I stayed at the Melia for seven days in May 2008. The hotel itself was nice, not a very big resort, but the view was beautiful! The resort was clean, and the staff was very pleasant and accomodating! I will say that we would not stay at this resort again due to the bad food. Even though all threee meals were a buffet there wasn't much variety and the food itself was either very bland or just not good. Breakfast was the best meal of the three with more variety. The snack bar that they had each day was outdoors so you couldn't be too sure about how long the food had been there and it was over 90 degrees everyday. Four other relatives stayed at the same resort with us and had the same complaints. My other complaint was the smell of the hotel room which was very musty! Nothing ever dryed even with the air conditioning on full blast. Could have used a yankee candle!!
