We Stayed From Dec 28th through Jan 4th, 2008. Over All Experience: The hotel just lacked in service and attention to the guests.. There were so many inconveniences that the hotel could really correct to make the experience better.

We just returned from a amazing week in Cozumel, diving with Aldora Divers and also stayed in their accommodation (Villa Aldora) exclusive for their dive customers.

We read great reviews about the dive operation and after emailing and talking with Kay and Greg at Villa Aldora, we decided to book our accommodation with them as well. Not really knowing much about Cozumel, talking with Kay eased any worries that we had about the island and the excellent quality of accommodation that was available at the Villa.

Staying at the Villa Aldora was amazing and perfect for us. It was low key, relaxed, quiet and away from the touristy hustle and bustle. It was beautifully decorated and it really felt as though we were staying in a lovingly kept home. Villa Aldora is private and small. We stayed in the Kristal room that offered a balcony view to the ocean with a kitchenette. Villa Aldora hosts, Kay and Greg were wonderful and welcomed us with a smile. Not long after we arrived, Kay took us for a tour of the city and a trip to the grocery store. This was so helpful and gave us a practical understanding of our surroundings and insider information about local customs. She offered up plenty of local 'not touristy' spots for dinner and sights to see while on the island.

The Villa offers free high speed wireless internet, as well as lovely pool and a wonderful beach area. This truly is a place to relax. We jumped off the dock just about everyday for a refreshing ocean swim. Even right off the dock, the snorkeling was excellent with a wide range of ocean life to see just off your back door. Sunset every evening was to die for! Mountain bikes were also available to use from the Villa. The small town of San Miguel is less than a mile away and offered a wide variety of dining options, local flavor and curiosities. We biked all over town many afternoons and also rented a Volkswagen from a recommended office to tour the island further for one day as well.

Our hosts at Villa Aldora, Kay and Greg were available 24-7 and were absolutely fantastic, they made us feel welcome, comfortable and offered priceless insight to the culture of Cozumel that is not available in any guide book or tourist office. Aldora divers and the Villa Aldora work closely together to make sure that your experience is the very best. Many thanks to them all, they are all an just amazing people. We learned a lot on this trip.

We can not say enough great things about the dive operation and their accommodation … it was fabulous. You deserve the best, so dive and stay with the best in Cozumel. They have got our business for years to come and we are already talking about going back and we just got home last night.

Stayed at the Villa June 10-17, 2007. Had a great time. The staff were very accomodating. Mike and Rita are the finest people you will ever meet. Dave was extremely nice as well. All staff went out of their way to make our trip wonderful. My husband was impressed with Aldora Divers as well. First rate service all the way! We will definately be back!!!!

Wow, this place is great! It is within walking distance to town (10min) and a cab ride to and from typically runs about $4 including tip. The snorkling is nice from the Villa and the dive boats picked up and dropped us off at the Villa. I highly reccommend the suites with the water front view. WOW, it was just awesome! The staff provided free snorkling equipment and were very friendly and helpful. I will definatly be back. Before this trip I used to stay at the El Presidente, but I'll be staying at the Villa in the future.

I also highly reccommend renting a car for a day and visiting the other side of the island for remote beaches to layout on and great food.
