Was a little worried about no A/C but it was very cool at night and the ceiling fan helped too. Very nice rooms and OK kitchen. Great location, drove to Chichen Itza in about 2 hours and the Tulum ruins in 5 minutes. Close to town and the grocery. Used the beach at La Zebra, just beautiful Very good value!

This is a great option for people on a budget but who want to be close to the action...great location within walking distance to main street of Tulum. Also, a stone's throw from the local grocery store to take advantage of the in room kitchenette (save more $$$ instead of all meals out). Very quaint and confortable. On same street that you can take out to Coba (inland) or a straight shot to the gorgeous beaches of Tulum. Staff and other travelers were very friendly. When we were there, some of the guest actually had a rehearsal dinner in the quaint courtyard area. Would recommend this to friends and would stay again.

Uolis Nah is conveniently located walking distance from Tulum and the jungle setting provides a cool setting to relax in. After a hot day in the jungle it's a cool setting to return to. Apartments are spacious, clean and comfortable. The common courtyard is nice for mingling, but we always had our private patio to retreat to and seek solitude. It was perfect for us, and reasonable!

uolis nah is a great little hotel in the centre of tulum. it's walking distance from the centre of town and just 150 metres from the biggest supermarket but it is surrounded by a beautiful tropical jungle unlike all other hotels that we visited in town. the rooms are very big and airy, you have a private balcony and hammoc and a kitchen of your own so you do really spend a lot less staying in and cooking, maybe with the other tennants and then going out on the town.
going to the beach takes 20 minutes by bike and 5 minutes taxi.
it is run by a really cool italian girl that is always very helpful with any type of information about tulum, lots of tips on where to go at night and willing to take you out to join her with her local friends... or organize a bbq in the garden...(she's very proud of the huge grill in the back and i must say it's a sight for any one that likes grillin!). she also is renovating all the rooms by herself and i must say it looks incredibly good!!! she's got something special let's put it that way...and makes everyone feel like their at home. everyday when you get back from the beach you have a nice clean room thanks to their very efficient maid and another great night in tulum!
