This resort was out of control amazing. It's secluded so it does take a while to get there from the airport and it's kind of far from downtown but the pros outweigh the cons by far. We were there for a wedding and it seemed as though there were only a few other rooms rented out besides those that were going to the wedding. The service is wonderful. I stayed for seven days and when I had to leave, I felt like we were leaving family behind. You can't get in the water at the resort, but you can take a taxi or a shuttle downtown and get in that water. With all the violence going on in Mexico right now, this resort made me feel so safe. It's isolated and there's two security checkpoints you have to go through to get to it. The food was amazing. Try the Kobe burger and the omelet both wonderful. I can't say enough about this resort. A cheap way to get downtown is to take the free shuttle to Sunset, then the free shuttle to Rose'. It'll take a little bit of time, if not, the taxi is about $12 one way to get downtown. The views are amazing. Each room has a balcony that faces the water. So serene. We went to a timeshare showing at the Sunset and paid $80 and received a $200 food and beverage credit. If you're going to be there for a while, it is definitely worth it. The only thing is you can't use it at Sunday brunch at the Sunset, but you can use that credit at any restaurant owned by Pueblo Bonito and it expires in one year. If you're thinking about staying here, you should. You won't regret it!
