so, first, they forbid you from taking your own camera then they snap a few pictures of your and the GF playing with the dolphins and stuff. then they won't give you the pictures that they took - the pictures that they wouldn't ALLOW you to take yourself - unless you give them ANOTHER NINETY DOLLARS! what?

basically, this seems to be a variant of just extortion and burying a hidden cost. 90 dollars is not a trivial amount. 170 for the dolphin swim is not chump change. why they need to charge another 90 dollars on top of the 170 just for the pictures is beyond me. or just allow people to take their own pictures. or charge like $10 for the pix. or both. let people take their own and charge $10 for the professional ones. it will make people feel better. as it is, you pretty much feel ripped off.

so my advice is just think of it at a $260 dolphin swim.

besides the picture BS, the swim itself was fine. short. you get to touch the little guy a good amount. there are a lot of people. about 8-10 folks per dolphin. the company is fine and clean and professionally run. much more of a professional outfit than you'd normally get in cabo. so that's fine. they just need to adjust their pricing on the pix or allow people to take their own

You zip line through the mountains, over a river, again & again, climb a tightrope across a canyon, traverse a bridge made of wire & planks, rock climb, & rappel down 90 feet.

Yes, it sounds crazy, but it's really fun! They have pick ups throughout Cabo and then you take a scenic drive into the mountains where the real adventure starts. There were 5-6 guides for about 12 of us. They give you an added safety line, too. We felt safe & like they really knew what they were doing, in addition to being a really fun group. The mountains are beautiful, & there's nothing like seeing it suspended over it! Really fun, exhilirating, & beautiful.

They have a photographer who takes great pictures coming along. Unfortunately, at $12 a picture they were far too expensive. They were running a special for $50 for all your pics on a CD. It would have been $100 for me & my husband, which I probably should have done. There were some great shots. They give you water along the way (it's HOT) & at the end, where they also provide a light lunch of chips & salsa, PB&J, & watermelon. Beer is also available for purchase.

My friend and I signed up for this adventure not knowing what to expect. Here we were in a foreign country and were worried that the locals or "guides" would make fun of us for being tourists and talk about us to our face in Spanish. This was SO NOT the case! What an amazing group of people we met! We had a team of guides teaching and working with us, all of which were incredibly professional, friendly and funny! There was a guide named Adrian who stood out and I highly recommend requesting to go when he's working! We both felt safe under his watch because you could tell he was always cautious, focused and knew a lot about the surroundings (plants, animals etc.). He was able to still crack jokes which kept the day fun, but you didn't feel like he would let you fall off a cliff side! The adventure was a blast and well worth the money! In the states they tend to take away some of the exhilaration by adding a ton of safety rails, walls, ramps, nets etc. but here they let you be one with the wilderness and experience the thrill of dangling hundreds of feet up in the air while zip lining at speeds of 45mph or more, walk on just a rope over a gourge full of water (No net!) and traverse the mountain side without rails and straight drop-offs on your sides! It's a definate MUST on the attraction list if you're looking for a thrill!

Adrian, Sasha, Alex, Sergio and the entire "C" team crew was amazing on the ziplining/Canopy tour! I highly recommend going on this tour when in Cabo, it's well worth the money and time. You get to go on several ziplines, rock climb, repel and more. The staff was so much fun as well!

Make it Cabo Adventures' zip-lining excursion! Booked through a travel rep in the lobby of our hotel, it was hands down our favorite experience of our week-long stay in Cabo. Picked up from the front of your hotel and whisked an hour away into the mountains, the ride alone offers the opportunity to see areas of the country you wouldn't have access to otherwise. Then, the amazing Cabo Adventure guides (thanks, Jonatan and company!;)--who take fun and safety equally seriously--take you on a two and a half hour adventure zip-lining, Tarzan swinging, and rickity-bridge crossing your way down the beautiful mountain side. The company's hired photographer tags along to take top-notch photos of you and your loved ones shaking in your boots but having a blast--it's worth purchasing a few at the end as a memento of this amazing excursion! You won't regret booking!
