We just returned from a beautifully exhausting visit to the Cabo Surf Hotel.
We stayed in the new addition. The rooms are lovely, large and had nice features and finishes. Internet service was a little spotty in our room, but I was able to make clear VOIP calls from the lobby. The restaurant was quite good with really attentive service. The spa services were reasonably priced and high quality, though not really in a typical spa setting.
Board rental on the beach was GREAT! My husband surfed for an average of 5 hours a day - right in front of the hotel. He said that it was one of his favorite surf experiences. I am a beginner and spent a couple of hours a day on SUP board and found the break to be excellent for learning, with the exception of only one day when the waves were a bit bigger than I am comfortable with.
The staff was present and helpful. I would go back without hesitation.
