We stayed at the Johnston Canyon Resort from September 1-4, 2007 which we booked via the hotel website about 2 months ago. First of all, it was easy to find and the views from the place were beautiful. Check-in was painless and very friendly. We were in cabin 14A which is a duplex bungalow unit. This bungalow unit has a queen bed, gas fireplace, table with two chairs, coffeemaker and small bar fridge. It is behind the tennis court and a very short walk to the community barbeques which are, by the way, very clean. Just make sure you pack some paper plates and cutlery if you plan on dining on site. We were told in an e-mail that we could have gone to housekeeping but we opted for the former since we were staying at 3 different places on our trip. The resort is extremely quiet at night which is great after a day of hiking. We did the Johnston Canyon hike. Go early as the buses arrive around 10:00. Also, most people only hike to the upper falls. We kept going to the inkpots and it was worth every ache and pain. All in all, I would definitely stay there again.
