Great place to unwind and knock a few back. Great beer selection.

When we first visited Banff we stopped in to this Irish pub and we never stopped dropping in when ever we traveled to Banff. The food was great and the service was super. With its old world pub feel and wood furnishings it makes it seem as if we went to Ireland. Sometimes there is live music which fits right into the Irish pub feel. I strongly recomend stopping in and to relax and enjoy.

This is a great pub! Excellent food, a great selection of beer on tap, a super staff and the Irish atmosphere all contribute to make the St. James Gate a top-notch spot. For me, no trip to Banff is complete without stopping in for a meal or a pint or two.
