A great set of cabins & lodges within a kilometer of the Chateau Lake Louise. Paradise is very well named. The pride of ownership shows in every detail. Very cozy. The views of Mount Temple are breathtaking! I have no association with this establishment. We have been to the area twice in the last decade and made a point to stay here. Our favorite place in Alberta.

One of the highlights of our Canadian adventure! Our cabin, the smallest in the range of cabins available, was comfortably furnished and absolutely spotless! The bathroom positively sparkled and continued to do so throughout our stay thanks to the person who slipped in and out each day and kept everything just as we had first found it. The cabin was beautifully sited amongst pine trees with its own parking spot and a small porch for a quiet moment with a good book. Although there were children about and a children's play area it was never noisy, rather a tranquil spot to come home to at the end of a busy day exploring the breathtaking Canadian Rockies. The staff consists of the owners and a hard working and extremely pleasant team of young people. Nothing was too much trouble; they booked restaurants for us, gave directions and provided extra keys when we locked ourselves out!! Complimentary breakfast of pastries, bread for toasting and tea and coffee was provided each morning in the lodge; something of a bonus as this was not mentioned in the write up! We highly recommend this site to anyone looking, as we were, for something other than a hotel or B and B to stay in to enjoy this area, one of the most magnificent places on the planet!

Our most expensive accommodation whilst in Canada but still quite good for the area. We stayed in the Half Saddleback Suite and it had good facilities, not a full kitchen but we didn't expect it. It was in walking distance of the Lake but you needed a car to get into Lake Louise village. The site was beautifully kept and the staff were very helpful. Coffee and cakes were provided in the morning and you could take them back to your cabin. The area around Lake Louise is beautiful but very busy in summer, still much more pleasant than the over-commercial Banff.
We enjoyed the Lake Louise Gondola and the cheap lunch after it was excellent. The village is very small Bill Peyto's cafe is good but I personally would avoid the frozen veg and lack of taste at the Lake Louise grill. A trip to Yoho is worth doing and the Bow Valley Parkway a must (early morning to see bears!) The walk to the tea house is enjoyable but hard work, definitely worth the view. Moraine Lake is just as beautiful as Lake Louise.

My only regret about this place is that we didn't stay here longer! We stayed for 2 nights and was worth every penny. REally cosy little cabin, walking distance to Lake Louise, altho a cab is needed to Lake Moraine (which by the way is nicer than Lake Louise). Very peaceful and serene.
