We enjoyed our two nights at Baker Creek Chalets. It's off the beaten path, away from the tourist crowds, but still only a short drive to places like Lake Louise and Johnston Canyon. Friendly staff and a beautiful setting. There are a few different kinds of rooms available, and we were in a Lodge one-bedroom suite. It includes a kitchen with a stove, small refrigerator, pots and pans, and dishes. With the window cracked open we could listen to the sound of the creek. Outside there are some walking trails and picnic tables with firepits.
We ate one meal at The Bistro. The selection when we were there consisted of meals like duck, salmon, and pork. The soup of the day was very tasty. My husband had the salmon and wanted to take a picture because it was so beautifully presented.
