Arrived from Europe in the evening and needed a place to stay overnight before heading for the Rockies. Picked up the rental car at the airport and drove straight to the hotel, which is about 10 minutes from the airport. I believe it would be difficult to reach this hotel without a car.
I loved the fact that you can fit the entire family of five in one hotel room. We booked a triple queen room, ideal when you have 3 children under the age of 12.
The rooms were clean, the receptionists were friendly and forthcoming, the breakfast was fine and the the pool area was clean. Did not use the gym, so I don't know what state the equipment was in.

Sightseeing in Calgary would be difficult without a car when staying at this hotel, as it is quite far from the centre. However,
for those of you who drive or intend to hire a car, the hotel is a good option, as it is more reasonably priced than the centrally located hotels.

We travel to Calgary at least once a year and we keep coming back to this hotel. Competitive rates, excellent suites, free breakfast, nice pool and close to a number of chain restaurants (Chilis, Joey Tomatoes, Keg, Tony Romas, etc) and it is close enough to the major roads to allow easy access to the rest of Calgary.

Stayed here for one night after flying into Calgary. Only about a ten minute drive from the airport and easy to find. We had a double room with a king-size bed that overlooked the car park at the front of the hotel. The room was large, very clean and had air-conditioning. It was also double glazed and we didn't notice any noise from the car park.
The breakfast was a self-service buffet style - a selection of cereals, fruit, yoghurt, pastries, toast, rolls, juices, tea and coffee. You could also make your own waffles!
You could also help yourself to coffee throughout the day - free of charge.
Our only criticism is that the restaurant is only open for breakfast - they do not provide evening meals.
A good place to stay after a tiring journey from the UK.

We booked in for one night prior to flying on to Toronto. Hotel was very convenient for this purpose however the area is very industrial and probably not good for a longer stay. The swimming pool was great, just what we needed after a long drive. The room was very big and comfortable and the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was great and designed for travellers with take away cups and bags available. There was also a restaurant right outside the hotel that had a nice atmosphere, good food and great staff.
