We just returned from a 4 night stay in Calgary. The hotel is convenient to the airport. We traveled to the Stampede via public transportation which was very convenient. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable and the staff were very friendly. I requested an extra roll away bed and it was delivered to the room quickly.

The hotel was conveninet to a burger king and chili's restaurants with many others a short walk away.

I run and there is a bike trail quite near the hotel which goes to the airport.

The breakfast was quite good with waffles and other choices.

Our party booked 3 rooms for 4 nights: April 8-10, and the 25th, going to and returning from an extended family vacation to the Carribean. The hotel is very convenient to the airport: that and the complimentary shuttle were major factors in our decision to book here. It was also quite a quick taxi ride to shopping areas, the Calgary Zoo, and downtown. There is a Chili's restaurant right next door, which shares a parking lot with a Burger King. As well there was a Tim Horton's across the street , so it was nice to have these options right there for when you didn't feel like going far. The rooms were very comfortable, with all the amenities you would expect. The free internet wireless connected very easily, and the connection was excellent no matter where you were in the hotel. The pool and hottub and exercise room were all used, and were fine. (The hottub is quite hot) The free breakfast provided was excellent, with many options, and the lady who works there kept it spotless. I was pleased to find hardboiled eggs and cheese portions available. I haven't found them at other hotel's breakfast rooms, and it was nice to have a protien source to balance the other carb heavy items. That there was coffee, fruit and cookies available 24 hours was wonderful for when you are arriving and leaving at odd hours. Not just the children appreciated them! We were pleased with the facility and will most likely stay there on our next trip through.

This was actually my second stay at this particular property (prior stay was in November/December). I found the hotel to be a good value for the Calgary Airport / NE area. It is literally minutes from the airport, and about 20 minutes to Downtown Calgary. It's just off Barlow Trail.

It is a clean, well-maintained hotel. The staff were helpful at check-in. In addition, I did receive a call from the front desk on a given day to make sure my stay was going well. The rooms are a good size and have the usual amenities that one might expect at a hotel. The decor is a bit dated. High-speed wireless internet was free and available. As I was traveling from the States, this allowed me to use a VOIP function on my phone to make phone calls without roaming charges. The ability to use the Internet for a few minutes here without paying a daily charge was great.

Other than a Burger King & Tim Hortons, there aren't many dining options within walking distance (being off Barlow Trail). However, many of the restaurants and stores in the Northeast area are just 5-10 minutes away by car. The hotel does offer free breakfast, which seemed to consist of a decent selection of items.

To reiterate, this hotel is definitely a good value for the area. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Stayed here for the weekend on a business/leisure trip. Brought my laptop and connected to the hotel's wireless system without problem. Hotel was in a great location near the airport. Wake up calls came on time and staff was friendly. Did not use the pool but the hot tub/whirlpool was very warm. Towels were plentiful in the pool area.

Breakfast offered each morning was very good with waffle makers available (my favorite!)

Stayed in a one room suite with comfortable beds. Bathroom was small but adequate and always had hot water when needed. Housekeeping was adequate and room was cleaned each day without fail.

All in all, nothing outstanding good or bad - well worth the money we paid.
