I recently visited Calgary with my Regional Manager. I am in Calgary on a regular travel schedule and this was my first visit to Brava.
Upon walking in, we received a warm, almost an "I know you" type greeting by a lovely Hostess. We sat at the bar and again received a second warm greeting from the bartender. Other staff came and went in this warm and open atmosphere, sharing a smile or conversation on their journey.
The food came next; as we waited for our Lebanese Salad, we were given fresh warm bread and olives in olive oil with a dash of spices. The salad was the beginning of an amazing journey of flavour that was again complimented by the warm and relaxing ambiance of this enchanting Bistro.
My entree was Steelhead Trout, cooked perfectly with blackened spice atop vegetables and cous cous. Presentation was visually appealing and the meal was the best I have ever experienced in Calgary. I will re-visit this culinary masterpiece every future visit to Cow Town.
Beautiful staff, beautiful atmosphere and the best food in Calgary, period.
