We stayed at Day's Inn for 3 nights. No complaints and received more than what we expected. It's a newer hotel. We had a large, clean room with comfortable double beds. Not too noisy (even though we were right by the elevator), pleasant and efficient service, above average complementary continental breakfast with nice sitting area, and free good coffee throughout the day in the lobby. Just off highway immediately across from the main shopping mall. If you book a room, inquire about special rates for CAA. We did and saved a few $$$ night. We have no reservations about staying there again, should we find ourselves in Medicine Hat.

PS. We didn't use the indoor pool, which has a waterslide. Be great fun for a family.

Stayed at the Days Inn, based on previous reviews. I was not disappointed. The Hotel check in was easy and the clerk very helpful. The rooms are very large, well appointed for business travel and with fridge and microwave.

Overall the quality and value was very good - definitely a choice for future business travel.

I booked this hotel because it was the top rated one in Medicine Hat. The last few trips I had stayed at the Howard Johnson (now Coast) and the Medicine Hat Lodge. I found both places to be poorly cleaned and uncomfortable for different reasons (I think I posted reviews on both of them in the last 12 months). Now I have found the hotel that I will always stay at.

We were on the 4th floor which is a secure access floor. It has internet access but the wireless was not that great (only 2 bars). That was probably the only point of frustration. Otherwise, the room was enormous, the bed was just as comfortable as the one I just stayed at in the Westin in Whistler, and the room was very quiet. My favourite part was the breakfast in the morning - what an amazing spread. They had all the fixings for an egg mcmuffin, cereals, oatmeal, bagels, muffins, toast, yogurt...the list goes on. I was so impressed.

In the lobby they have coffee and tea set out all day long for free, along with cookies!! They also have a little shop where you can buy food and drinks if you want to make something in your microwave in the room (our room had a small microwave and fridge).

The hotel also has a cute little waterslide and hot tub but we didn't use it.

Location wise - it's off the #1. It's walking distance to Walmart and plenty of shopping within a minute drive. There are several food options right there...

I will definitely be back and would highly recommend this to anyone going to Medicine Hat.

We have never stayed with the Days Inn before, and were heavily relying on the ranking here at tripadvisor when we booked. We are happy to report that it was an above average stay.

We arrived about an hour before check-in, but were still able to get into our room. The room was clean, although one of the sheets has a stain on it. The staff was friendly and courteous.

We used the pool briefly, and although the hot tub was a little foamy, the pool deck and environs were very clean. The only spot of bother was; we could easily hear the people in the 4th floor suites above us thumping around.

Good price, great stay, very satisfied.
