We stayed here for one night 06.08.07 while travelling with the Rocky Mountaineer on the Western Explorer trip. The hotel was clean and tidy and the staff were all very friendly. The nice pool area was unexpected for a Holiday Inn. The only down sides were the fact that it was quite a way out fo the main town and if you travel as part of the Goldleaf package on the Rocy Mountaineer your evening meal is included. The only choice you have here is the Indian restaurant next to the hotel, although the receptionist seemed to think you can order "western food" in there - you can't. Very friendly staff but the food was nothing to write home about. However that's not the hotel's fault. The breakfast buffet was good and overall a very enjoyable stop over.

We loved this hotel. It's great value for the money. After a week of travelling to a new place daily, it was better than all the hotels we had stayed in and less expensive than many, especially when you consider the free breakfast. Bravo!

A great Holiday Inn. The bedroom was upgraded to both duvets and "firm/soft" pillows which was nice , the breakfast was good and the service excellent. I would stay here again if ever in Kamloops

Nice, clean hotel for a cheap price.
We only stayed over for one quick stop, but from what we saw it was nice.
The free continental breakfast was great as well.

This Holiday Inn Express could serve as a model for the way a chain motel should be run ... courteous staff, spotlessly clean rooms with really comfortable beds and bedding, and a complimentary breakfast to send you on your way. We spent a great night there with no complaints at all, and the desk clerk recommended a nice restaurant nearby where we got a delicious dinner (Milestones). All in all a fine place to stay, and if you want a convenient location on the edge of Kamloops, nice staff, and cleanliness all around, here you go.
