We had a lovely time at this resort, I was quite worried as I had seen only the negative reviews but we were pleasantly surprised. I told the resort that we were travelling with my 88 yr old mother in law and they gave us a ground floor unit. We had a 2 bed 2 bath exchange with II.
It is not classed as a five star resort but we could not fault it. We had a full kitchen with an american style fridge freezer, full oven microwave and a dishwasher. also a lounge area with a large screen tv and a dining area, also a patio with a gas b-b-q. Plenty of storage and heating and cooling. The resort itself was spotless and although there are RV's there I cannot see it as a problem, some of the are wonderful, I would like one!!

My husband and I stayed in a two bedroom condo and found it to be spacious, clean and comfortable. My husband used the wireless internet to work during our stay. We both liked the little cafe and the other amenities. The gardens and grounds are nice to walk through and the family atmosphere is relaxing. The resort is a little out of town (it's on Duck Lake), so you might get caught in the "Kelowna Crawl" (rush hour), but some strategic timing should avoid that.

My daughter & I went to this resort & I was pleasantly surprised. Although the rooms are dated, my two bedroom lock-off was spacious & clean. The grounds are very well maintained. The country kitchen was great for brunch (reasonable; the two of us could eat for $14.00 -$20.00) & the Italian restaurant was excellent. The two pools that children could go to were small, but never overcrowded. We also had access to a beach by their golf course. Behind the indoor pool that children were allowed in there was a dock were there was always ducks waddling about & painted turtles in the water, there was always a group of people watching these animals. Yes I will go to this resort again, but I hope the owners will start renovating the rooms eventually.

This resort? should not be listed with RCI or Interval International
as a time share trade. It is basically a trailer park.
The room we had was like a small x rated motel room. Heat and A/C controls were in another room and each time that tenant left he turned the A/C unit down to freeze level so we had to wear coats inside while the outside temp was in the
80's. Furniture old and worn, 2 burner hotplate to cook on, small undercounter refer, and very little prep space. Bath exhaust fan sounded like a diesel truck running in the room.
The two restaurants we tried were poor quality, over priced, and had limited hours. Par 3 golf course
I would not recommend staying here. What a wasted trade this was.

This was absolutely one of the worst places I ever stayed. It was listed in Interval International and should have been a nice resort. The modular constructed studio room did not have it's own heat control. The room had a wall heater, but the room adjacent to our's controled the temperature. I had no idea who the people were in the other room who controled the temperature. After we turned on the wall heater the next door nieghbors came home and turned the real thermostat on located in their room, so we had to turn off the wall heater and the room became very cold. We barely had enough blankets to keep warm. I can't believe we didn't have the ability to control our heat. The wall heater was located behind the 10 inch TV provided with cords everywhere. It seemed like a fire trap and it doesn't seem possible this would meet any type of code in the US or Canada.

A two burner plug in stove was provided. This could not fit on the counter space in what they called a kitchen, which was actually located in the bedroom.

The bathroom was cold and didn't have enough room to place any tolietry items. It was so small that two people could not be in the bathroom at the same time. It was even difficult to fit one person.

If you wanted air conditioning (it was cold so we didn't use this) you would have to stand on a chair to reach the inserted air conditioning unit.

I have no idea how this place was rated as any type of five star resort (RV or otherwise) and placed in the Interval International book. I would not pay $40.00 a night let along over $100.00. The studio rooms don't look like the picture in the Interval International book or on their web site. Avoid this place at all costs. Don't go to Kelona and stay here. A Holiday Inn Express or a Comfort Inn is nicer than this shack. Brace yourself if you get stuck at this "resort".

  • Liked — Staff was friendly
  • Disliked — Lack of ability to control the room temperature
  • Any tips/secrets for future travellers? — Don't stay here. I recomend camping over these accomodations.
