“Absolutely loved the Pepper Muffin Country Inn”

Pepper Muffin Country Inn

I was recently in Nanaimo to take a course and decided to stay at the Pepper Muffin Country Inn B&B.......What a fantastic choice it was!!! I knew immediately as I spoke to Jolynn the first time I called, that it was the place for me! She is just meant for the business and makes you feel like a guest in her home. She gave me more hints and info about the course I was going to be taking, than I had received with my registration package. When I finally spoke to Rich on the phone,
before arriving, he was just as warm and kind as Jolynn!!! They are absolutely fantastic people!!! They had even offered to shuttle me around a bit while I was there, as I didn't have a car. They also knew
that I would meet someone else taking the course, whom would be staying somewhere nearby, and would have a car and we could carpool. They were 100% correct....but until this time they actually drove another guest and myself around a bit!!!! That is service!!!!!!!! Jolynn and Rich just could not do enough for you. The breakfasts were delicious and VERY filling!!!!! We compared them with guests from other B&B's and everyone agreed that we were being fed extremely well....and did I say DELICIOUS!!!??!! The rooms were very spacious, with private bathroom, sitting area with a TV you could view from the comfy chair or the very comfy bed. If you appreciate cleanliness....
you have found your dream......this place is the cleanest lodging I have stayed in!! And I always examine that!

There was another guest staying there at the same time as me, and also taking the same course as me. This ended up being a real treat as we got along very well and have kept in contact since leaving Nanaimo. We visited for hours every night and enjoyed the hot tub just
out back. It was also kept very well. And we sure enjoyed it after long tiring days in our course. Jolynn and Rich had snacks out most nights when we came in for the night......such a nice touch!!!!! There
was also bottled water and a chocolate by the bedside every evening. The area is soooo quiet and peaceful. I will definitely stay there again (if they are available!) when I return!!!!! Thank you sooooo much for taking us in and making us feel like your personal guests Jolynn and Rich. I could not have imagined such a draining week anywhere else!!!!!!

“Hot tub under the full moon!”

Pepper Muffin Country Inn

11 Nov 2007

The Pepper Muffin Inn is located reasonably close to the centre of the city (if you are driving) yet in a valley that is peaceful and quiet. After long days of teaching my return to the Inn was truly a home away from home. My room was spacious with good windows and very clean! A wee suggestion would be a desk for my laptop and papers. The highlight for me was the serene hot tub that is covered but open enough on the sides to watch the moon or the stars late at night. The host and hostess were friendly and good cooks too! I can easily recommend this B&B to either a business person or for a couple looking for a retreat!

For us it was the highlight of our whole holiday to stay at the Pepper Muffin Inn. So sad we had to leave after two days. Everything was perfect here: delicious breakfast, friendly and helpful hosts, tasteful rooms in a beautiful surrounding. It was like our second honeymoon in a way.
You certainly would enjoy that too.
Thanks to you, Jolynn and Rich
Many greetings, Thomas and Nicole (Germany)

i stayed in the River Room at the Pepper Muffin Country Inn for 7 nights in October. The room was private, tastefully decorated, comfortable beyond expectations, quiet and sparkling clean.

The breakfasts were the best! Every morning included the freshest fruit salad I've ever tasted along with an everything from individual egg souffles to fruit omelette to the wonderful pumpkin-pecan scones with chantilly cream & candied ginger. Yummy.

Jolynn and Rich are warm, helpful and charming hosts. I can't say enough good things about them and the Pepper Muffin!

The Pepper Muffin Inn's hosts were extremely hospitable ... our room was lovely, breakfast was delicious, the conversation was interesting, the property was alive with wildlife, and Jolynn couldn't have been more helpful in providing dinner recommendations and directions.
