Cozy, Comfortable, Great Hosts

A charming country inn in horse country on the outskirts of Nanimo, B.C. We arrived exhausted after a long day that involved a plane flight, car rental, and ferry ride. We were greeted by our charming hostess Jolynn, and directed to our beautifully decorated, immaculate, and comfortable room through a separate entrance. The country inn side of the house includes three bedrooms, a sitting area, and light filled breakfast room. There is also a hot tub available for guests’ use. I spent both evenings we were there sitting on the front porch in a wicker chair enjoying the view of horses, snow capped peaks, and green countryside.
The breakfasts were to die for - Eggs Benedict, a souffle, and fruit and yogurt. We were full until 3 or 4 in the afternoon. Jolynn and Rich were not only gracious hosts, they were also extremely helpful. Since this was the beginning of our stay on Vancouver Island, they sent us in directions we would not have found on our own. Jolynn even connected us to a B&B on the West Coast which was especially helpful on a busy holiday weekend.
You couldn’t possibly find a warmer, charming, more hospitable place to stay.

My two friends and I just returned from a trip to Nanaimo on Vancouver Island and the city of Vancouver in British Columbia. Our stay at the Pepper Muffin County Inn in Nanaimo on Vancouver Island was wonderful. The hosts prepared a delicious breakfast each morning with the freshest local ingredients. Their attention to detail with everything was amazing. Our very comfortable and beautifully decorated rooms were located on both the first and second floors, one with a private balcony. The inn is located on a lovely property just a short drive from downtown Nanaimo. It is a quiet and ideal setting for this charming inn which I highly recommend. I look forward to my a return visit.

This B&B was just on the outskirts of Nanaimo with easy access to the downtown and the harbour. Many restaurants nearby. The hosts Richard and Jolynn were very welcoming and extremely pleasant people. The house was beautiful and the B&B part was very private. The rooms were decorated nicely and the bed extremely comfortable. The country setting was very quiet and we had the best sleep of our entire vacation. Breakfast was ready at the time agreed upon and was delicious and plentiful.

This B&B has all the qualities we look for. The room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious and well thought-out with homemade muffins, jams, scones, souffle, fruit salad and yoghurt etc. The setting is wonderful-the place is located in a quiel country setting and the property is beautifully kept with lovely gardens, a nice patio, a delightful hot tub and a porch with rocking chairs. The hosts couldn't have been more helpful with tourist suggestions, offers to use their laundry facilities, and much more. The rooms are not large and our bedroom was right off the dining room-next time we might ask to stay upstairs. Still this wasn't a big problem.
We certainly would stay here again when we get a chance to visit Nanaimo again.
