Very comfortable, clean and pleasant room. Staff went above and beyond for our visit. Really loved the temperature control in the room,especially important to the disabled, it was so accurate.

Our last hotel on tour and perhaps we were a little tired because the hotel really didn't stand out compared to others we had stayed in throughout the Rockies. Room was comfortable and clean but a little tired itself. In a handy part of Vancouver if you enjoy walking. Places like Robson Street for shopping are quite close but be careful not to take a wrong turn because some of the streets can be a little scary. The hotel foyer is quite small although staff were friendly and there is a bar/bistro which from memory you enter from the foyer where we relaxed and unwound from our exploring. Staff were always happy to get taxis for us when we wanted to go further afield.

I liked the location of this hotel. Close to everything my sister and I wanted. Shopping downtown on Robson, Yaletown, Chinatown and the seabus. We went for the weekend and there turned out to be a football game on the Saturday night. I didn't notice the huge building across the street facing the front before Saturday night. We were on the backside. We came up to the hotel after a long day of shopping and there was a stage, band and football pre party in the street. Right in the resturant of the hotel there was a long line up for what looked like a hot dog buffet. It was a bit of a shock. I didn't mind but I could see how it might bother other guests. We went for dinner and a walk around downtown, then returned to the hotel. From inside we could hear the crowds cheers, more like the vibrations. When the game was over you could hear the streets fill up with people ready to party. The hotel itself is typical. More elegant then most. Great service, friendly people. I would stay there again, but would be careful who I recommend the hotel to during football season.

I booked this hotel through 'pureCanada' website and paid about 50 pounds per night for a king sized bed room on the 11th floor. It was a bargain!

The hotel front is not that big and luxurious but the room is well maintained and the hotel staffs are very very kind and helpful. I absolutely loved them!

The location of this hotel is just outside of downtown though it is still within the walking distance from the downtown. (about 5-10mins).

The good thing about this hotel is there is free internet connection as long as you stay there (if you have a laptop) and it's very close to the bus depot which links Vancouver city to other cites.

The bathroom is good and if you are a lady, you will love the Aveda toiletries provided by the hotel (facial soap, bath soap, body lotion, shampoo and conditioner).

We didn't try the breakfast as it seemed a bit expensive. There are many restraunts around the hotel, so you can easily get subway sandwich(2min from the hotel) or Mcdonald's breakfast.

I already miss Vancouver. Vancouver is a lovely city with nice people and environment. I would definitely go back and will stay at this hotel.
