Overall a lousy experience. Staff and management were not helpful. Location and room were not great. Lobby was filthy. Opted to go to Dennys rather than eat at the dirty restaurant.

Very well priced.Rooms are clean and reasonably updated.Bed is comfortable.Bathroom is simple but nice. Air conditioner is quiet and modern.Only negative is the loud closing front door to the room,keep the air on and you won't be bothered.

This hotel is OK. Nothing special and nothing bad. The views if you book one of the upper front facing floors are absolutely stunning and you may wish to pay the additional bucks to get this however as we found if you walk a block up the road to the Red Robin Restaurant you can sit on their veranda and get the same with a drink! The staff were ok. The fascilities are minimalist, so no mini kitchen etc.Do not make your way down and onto the fire exit stairwell from within as you will not be able to get out onto a lower landing! You need aswipe card to access each floor! Hopefully this facility releases if there is a real fire!!!There are simply loads of restaurants on the main drag around this hotel, every nationality and country in the world seemed to be represented! Buses into town are real regular and the walk down the hill to Granville Island is just 10 mins although watch out for the climb back up the hill on the return it is VERY steep! All in all if you want 3 star basic this is what you get.

This being my third trip to Vancouver, I've run into nothing but friendly locals and enjoyed my stays thoroughly. I had the unfortunate luck of getting this hotel through Priceline, however, and was disappointed by several things. The location is not ideal, but more importantly, the front desk staff was incredibly rude. When we arrived after 5:00 pm, we were told that our room still wasn't ready (check-in was at 3:00 pm). When I asked what would have happened if we had arrived on time for check-in, they said they would have found another room for us, but claimed they were also sold out. ??? Later, on check-out, there were two women working up front and when I chose to go to the one standing right in front of me, the other rolled her eyes at me with disgust. She then tried to charge my friend an additional $14. When my friend asked what the charge was for, the woman stood there and just stared at her like she should know already. It turns out that she pulled up the wrong room instead. I was highly disappointed in this desk staff and will not be staying here again!
