We really enjoyed our stay here. The food was excellent, the house was exceptionally clean , decorated and comfortable. We had privacy when we wanted but also great company from our hosts. There were several locals and people we met here that said they returned often, which said a good deal about the B&B. We would highly recommend a stay here.

We had a most interesting stay at Abbeymoore B&B in December.A freak windstorm blew up in the night and knocked out power in the area as well as blowing over the chimney . When we made our way down the stairs for breakfast , our hosts,Anne and Ian, lit the stairway with candles to mark our route down. With no power, we were not expecting breakfast but Ian fired up the barbeque and served us a delicious sausage omlette. What could have been a negative experience was turned into a positive adventure.
This beautiful old mansion, in one of Victoria's most leafy suburbs, was beautifully decorated for the Christmas season and , combined with the outstanding hospitality of our hosts, was a special overnight treat. We will stay here again when we next visit Victoria.

We stayed only one night at the Abbeymore but wished it could have been much longer.

The Abbeymore was the best combination of privacy and friendliness we could have hoped for. The room itself (master bedroom) was impeccably clean and so tastefully decorated we felt we had travelled back in time to 1920s Victoria. The king bed was soft and excuisitely comfortable.

All contact we had with staff was great; Ian and Anne we can't thank you enough for your guidance in Victoria; you sure do know the best spots!

The breakfast was truly gourmet, starting with absolutely phenomenal baking done by Anne. We had a choice of either smoked salmon or traditional eggs benny; myself having a half and half. It was delicious and filling and ranked with one of the best brunches I've ever had. They were also very sensitive those guests with specific dietary concerns.

Our stay was perfect. Private yet personal; homey yet gourmet.
I would strongly recommend Abbeymore to anyone staying or thinking of staying in Victoria. It is an excellent value.

We stayed in the Rose Room. This is a really large room, leather sofa, giant ottoman, armoire, and fabulous antique bed. The bathroom was a little small (shower only), but clean and functional. They even provided a plastic bag to allow one to take home the really nice soaps if wanted.
Service was the best. Very friendly, knowledgeable about the area, accommodating. Another room opened up before we got there, so we actually got a choice in rooms when we showed up.
They provided a unique breakfast for our dietary needs which was great.
Great run through the neighborhood down to the seawall and around to the main wharf area.
This inn is above 1st class - we recommend it highly.
(My 2nd time to stay in this inn).
