My girlfriend and I were looking for a B&B that was convenient for walking several tourist sites, safe and reasonable in price. We also wanted a relaxed B&B where the schedule was flexible. The breakfast's were outstanding! The warm family room was perfect and we had tea by the fire one evening after a long walk. The hosts were particularily warm and friendly and made arrangements to split a king bed so we could each have our own space. Something we couldn't find at many other B&B's. The overall experience was delightful!

We stayed at the Abbeymoore for two nights in March and absolutely fell in love with the house and with the innkeepers, Ian and Ann. Our room was beautiful and the bed and bedding were wonderful. We enjoyed the breakfast that Ann cooked and Ian served. We had to leave early on the second day and Ian drove us to the train station and sent us off with cups of hot tea and coffee and a wonderful yummy packed breakfast including juice, bottled water, bagle with smoked salmon, fruit, muffin and even napkins and hand wipes. Our Victoria stay was a great experience and we just wish we had been able to spend an extra night at the Abbeymoore.

I could have not picked a more romantic, cozy and friendly B&B even if I tried! Ian, Anne and Michelle made me feel like home and their breakfasts were to die for! (I was late for my conference every morning because I did not want to miss it!). I felt like I was coming home every night,ready to take a bath in the wonderful clawfoot bathtub and then curl up on the couch by the fire reading my book!
Very quiet and beautiful neighbourhood and an easy 15-20 minute walk to downtown or to the beach!
I you are looking to get spoiled rotten this is the place to do it at!!!! Definately will be back!

March 20, 2007 - I highly recommend Abbeymoore! It was a lovely experience. My room was delightful with a beautiful view from the walkout upstairs porch and lush sheets to sleep between – attention to detail throughout the inn. Breakfast was delicious both mornings. There was gracious hospitality from the innkeeper - informative and helpful. I love historic homes and inns – this one is exceptional. Abbeymore has retained its 1912 favor with all the comforts and extras the modern traveler desires. It is located in a great neighborhood. I love Victoria - absolutely a jewel of a city!
