My husband and I stayed here just the one night, but wished we were staying longer as soon as we arrived. Agree with all the other comments - great house, great people and fantastic food. Would stay again!!!!

My husband and I stayed at the Abbeymoore Manor in Victoria for 2 nights. We were greeted by Ian who was most helpful with our stay. Our tea and dinner reservations were made by the B & B with many helpful recommendations by Ian and Anne. The B & B is conveniently located almost across the street from The Governors Mansion which held a free evening concert on the lawn in July. It was great being to walk across the street for the concert and not having to drive a long distance. The gourmet breakfasts were so filling that we had to delay our tea at The Butchart Gardens. Homemade cookies were served in the afternoon along with fruit and other snacks. What a great place to stay in Victoria. It's best to rent a car since the B & B isn't really close to the main part of town. We walked from the bus depot to the manor, but immediately rented a car for the rest of our stay. Our room ( The Master Bedroom) was very large with an adjoining balcony. The Abbeymoore Manor was one of the nicest B & B's that we have stayed in.

My wife and I and two daugthers (ages 11 and 13) thoroughly enjoyed our 3-day June/07 stay at Abbeymoore. Abbeymoore has the look and feel of a luxury heritage home...beautiful wood paneling, period furnishings, lush gardens...with the subtle addition of modern conveniences. Hosts Ian and Anne are extremely engaging and helpful. The gourmet breakfasts were excellent. My daughters loved it...how's that for a recommendation. We loved the location. Close to downtown Victoria and its beautiful waterfront and yet situated in a lovely and historic neighborhood of heritage homes and manicured gardens. According to one of our daughters, the view of the mountains and ocean from the penthouse suite was "totally awesome".

Ian and Anne provided us with great advise re: where to eat, what to do (and what probably not to do). The accomodations were outstanding. The hospitality was first rate. ..and the breakfasts were delicious~!
