We spent 4 nights (2 rooms) at this Marriott at the end of June. This hotel is fantastic in all categories. The location is wonderful so you can walk to all the sights, shops, and restaurants. Every staff member we came in contact with was very helpful, professional, and really seemed to care. The beds were extremely comfortable with luxurious sheets. The duvet cover was fantastic! I love the trend of hotels using fresh, clean duvet covers for each guest instead of those standard bed spreads that only get dry-cleaned 3x year. We ate dinner in the restaurant and did the breakfast buffet. The server brought out hot croissants! Again, food and service were wonderful. We used the concierge several times and were always happy with the service. Valet was prompt and courteous each time we used our car. With a stay that went as smoothly as this, we will definetly return.

We booked last minute for a good price and were more than pleased with our stay. Every staff member we encountered was pleasant and accommodating. We checked in a little early no problem and loved that check out wasn't until noon. Our room on the 15th floor was very clean and the bed quite comfy. The bathrobes were appreciated and we found the supplied toiletries to be above average. Parking was $15 which is typical of most bigger city hotels these days but the in-room internet was free. Wish we had more time to enjoy the other amenities but we were only there for one night. The only negative I found was that the elevators were slow. All in all, we had a great stay and would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel a block from the bay. Exceptionally clean, well appointed rooms. Went for 2-days of business travel and could not wait to finish work. Went to restuarants around the hotel. Easy to find.

Walking along the water is breath-taking. Relaxing and exciting at the same time. The float plane dock is right there. Saw several coming and going.

There was some construction near the waterfront (seems Vancouver is always under construction), but did not interfere. The view is awesome.

Found staff to be helpful and friendly. Location was probably the biggest strength. It's in easy walking distance from most of the sights and just 2 blocks away from the victoria conference center and Fairmont hotel. Got some good recommendations from staff on places to eat and was never disappointed. Decor was standard anonymous hotel, but room was clean and comfortable and I felt secure. I did really enjoy my stay and would return.
