I Found the Vacation Inn to be well located and very clean. They had everything a guest will need. The service was awesome and very friendly and helpful. The price was FANTASTIC.. And YES, I would tell my friends about Vacation Inn. I will return to Vacation Inn any time that I get to Victoria. B.C. The rooms are big with alot of room.
I know that when I am in Victoria, I can always count on, Vacation Inn on Douglas Street near the Mayfair Mall.

My family stayed at the Vacation Inn in Victoria, the one with the waterslide for kids. We had nothing but excellent service and a great time.

The rooms surprised us when we entered because they were immaculate, well designed, spacious and luxurious.

The service we received while there, was given by sincere and always polite associates.

I would definately recommend this hote. We are going back next year!

We stayed at this hotel because they had a great pool with the only water slide in town, and with us taking 4 kids, it would be a good chance for them to unwind. On our second afternoon the owner and his wife forced everyone out of the pool so they could film an ad for their hotel promotion. Yet the owner allowed all the kids in his immediate family (8-10) kids to continue to swim for this promotion. When asking if the kids could swim I was informed it would only take an hour or two. This promotion took most of the rest of the evening. Once I spoke the owner it seemed our service became worse and worse as our stay continued.

We were booked for two nights, but made arrangements to stay elsewhere for the second night. There was construction going on in the lobby blocking half of the the top of the stairs we had to carry our luggage down to get to our room. The toilet was running in the room when we got in, maintenance staff came by quickly and made it mostly better, but it was still running a bit. 2 of the 3 light bulbs in the room worked and 4 out of six in the bathroom lit up. Since our window had people walking by for the pool, we kept the curtains closed so the room was darker than we would prefer. There is no fan in the bathroom and the room felt damp. We put our luggage in the room and fairly quickly left to spend the evening downtown and were out before 11am to move on.
