I stayed here on business for two nights and found the hotel to be comfortable and convenient to downtown and the airport. The room I stayed in (435) was very spacious, had a microwave and mini fridge with a separate living room and bedroom. High speed wireless internet was available but was very intermittent in the room depending on where you sat and how busy the hotel was. If you sat at the desk the signal was low but if you sat on the sofa it increased dramatically. I asked the hotel to check into this anomaly as I checked out. The restaurant was good in terms of the service and the quality of the food. The gym was good as well. Staff at checkin were friendly and helpful with restaurant suggestions. Restaurants in the area require a car to get to or a cab and that's generally inexpensive as they are not that far away. Portage Road was where I usually went and there were plenty of options to choose from. Overall this hotel was very comfortable and provided good value for money. I would recommend it to business travelers if you don't need or can't get a hotel right in downtown.

The staff are very friendly. This property is very boring. There is a restaurant and small bar. The place is very clean.The room we had was a king bed suite. The room was very clean and big. In previous reviews they stated the beds as comfortable. Both my husband and myself woke up with sore necks and backs. The bed is fairly firm. The blankets were really nice and comfy (feather duvet and pillows) not as nice as the starwood chains beds. They put us in a room which was right behind an ice machine so that was pretty noisy. The tv had terrible fuzzy reception. The toiletries were ok but it would have been nice to have bubble bath like most hotels do. My husband and I stay at hotels around the city once a month for a get away from the kids so I would put this hotel near the middle of my list. I much prefer the CanadInns on Pembina hwy for there adult theme rooms as well as the Fort Garry Hotel. The four points sheraton at the airport is also at the top of our list. Hope this helps.

Stayed 2 days on first trip to Winnipeg. Property is in the skirt area around the airport so there is a industrial / warehouse atmosphere outside. Didn't see much restaurants to walk to but the property has a shuttle service. On site restaurant is a little pricy but the food was well prepared and the service very good. I believe the property was previously a Radisson (for gps users) but it has been completely refurbished to a "Hilton" atmosphere. Has indoor/outdoor pool, exersize room accessible by the second floor stairwell (tip: if you can get a room at the end of the hall on the second floor like we did, you can go down to the area in about 2 minutes) The 3 room suite was nice - no smells, carpet was reasonably clean (some stains) and not "sticky", bathroom was clean and well maintained (soft towels), bed was pillow top with good linens and very comfortable. (2 tv's, couch, desk, sitting chair, microwave, bar sink, refrigerator). Overall highly recommended and I would stay here again.

I normally stay at Clarion. This time after reading the good reviews I decided to stay at Hilton. It seems Hilton has lowered their standards in North America. Both the hotel and service are very very average. I did not get the room that I had booked and been pre charged for on the net. The room that they gave me had a leaky faucet on the sink. The air conditioning was making a continous knocking noise and the television in the bed room was also making some strange sound when it was switched on. I complained about all these 3 things in the morning. And to my shock none of these were fixed by the time I returned in the evening of the same day. The service is also very pedantic. Next time I am going to stick to the Clarion. The rooms are nicer and at least it is in the city. Plus they are just about the same price.
