Me and my wife stayed for 3 day's we had a room upstairs which was nice but needed a bit of work on the weekend you could hear music from the band downstairs. The front desk people we talked to were not very nice and not that helpful but they had this male housekeeper who kept our room so clean and neat he was very nice and helpful anything we asked or needed he tryed his best to help. We would stay here again if we ever vist Winnipeg again.

We stayed here for one night at the beginning of our trip to Winnipeg.
Some of the rooms are motel like and the outside could use some paint. The person at reception in the morning gave great customer service. You get a continental breakfast but don't sit at a table in the adjoining restaurant even if the door is open. You get in big trouble from the owner of the restaurant. Our room was prepaid, but the nighttime receptionist still took a copy of our credit card. This was the only hotel on our vacation that did this. If you are looking for a cheep place to stay, close to a mall (Walmart, Shoppers Drug mart etc.) the hotel is a reasonalbe price. But you must think of it as more of a motel not hotel.

Everyone is slating this hotel to the max. I have personally stayed there three times. The free shuttle from the airport is fantastic, as is the customer service! I read one review which said that the staff didn't speak english - he must have been rating the wrong hotel as its always been the same staff everytime I stayed there and I can't fault them. Now admittedly I have never used the pool so I cant rate that however I have always found the hotel clean and tidy even if the decor could do with a little updating. The hotel looks a little shabby from the outside but the rooms were large and clean and well maintain and anything we wanted we just called room service and they brought it up for us!! The food is well priced and good quality and I'm booked there again next week so its not as bad as everyone says. I wouldn't say is the best for walking anywhere as it seems a little out of the way but for an overnight stopover to catch a conecting flight or waiting to collect a car I can't fault it!
