The first thing I noticed is that the ownership a by tamil or hindi people. I was answered by a canadian lady though at the reception. Room was OK, but the mattresses had seen lots of people. We were deep in the bed! Outside of hotel is old and not inviting. I booked the room on Expedia, and saw only the nice images of the hotel. OK for an overnight stay. I wouldn't spend a week there.

Last week we had to go to Fredericton and stayed in Wandlyn Inn Hotel even though their name has been changed as Howard Johnson Plaza hotel now. Price was not too high for our hotel room but standard and service was excellent. They have a nice restaurant, lobby and exterior. Friendly environment. They gave us 25% discount in the restaurant for our supper as hotel border. The room was very clean and comfortable bed to sleep. Outdoor pool bar was not open for rain however enjoyed the hot tub and sauna in the indoor pool. Complementary breakfast was very good to start with lot of items (Bread, Cereal, fresh fruit and juice, boiled egg etc). The Internet and also long distance call in US and Canada was free of charge, which I never got in any other Hotel in my trip. We did not expect anything more for a $99 hotel room.

Hotel is very loud, walls are paper thin and not very clean. Not a great place for families. Website shows photos of recent renovations, don't be fooled by this. All that has been renovated is the exterior front and the lobby. If you are looking for a good nights sleep, stay elsewhere!

It has been taken over by Howard Johnsons and boasts that it is completed renovated. Look at the photo section, it will show you the new name and the photos of the "renovated" foyer at the entrance. That is the ONLY area in the hotel that has been renovated.
The place is dirty, the furniture is old. My key would only open and close the dead bolt lock, and not the regular handle, and it was hard to lock and unlock. My sis's non- smoking room stank of cigarettes.
The room we were served breakfast actually had a sign on the outer door that said "closed for renovations". Our breakfast was suppose to have eggs, bacon, sausage, the works. It was actually various breads, cereal, and hard boiled eggs.

Way too expensive for ANY stay.

Best part about it was the fact that there is a nice Canandian Drug store right down the street that in open from 8am to 12AM. If you have never been to a CA drug store, it is very fun.
