We stayed at this hotel Saturday, May 14, 2007. The hotel was not extravagent like the Royal York or the Prince George, but I was throughly impressed with the hotel. From the time we checked in, we were greeted with superb customer service. Even the maids and maintenance workers would stop what they were doing just to say hello as you walked by.
The room was very spacious. It had a coffee maker, microwave, toaster, plates, cuttlery, can opener etc. They has popcorn in the room to pop, tea, coffee, etc. They even have a grocery shopping service - you order what groceries you would like from the grocery store and they will have them delivered to your room -no service fee - and the groceries will be billed to your room.
If you are coming to Halifax and want to stay downtown, I highly recommend this hotel. You won't be disappointed.
