We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in the middle of May (Victoria Day weekend) and found the hotel to be excellent based upon location, room and price.

After staying in the 4 Seasons for 3 nights in Toronto I have to say I was a bit worried about what the standard of accomodation would be. Whilst obviously it wasn't up to the standard I had experienced it was very good for the money (I think it was about $80 per night for the room).

The rooms were very spacious and clean with comfortable beds and a good sized TV with plenty of channels - including the Weather Channel!!). We did have a balcony which was good but all the rooms don't so make sure upon reservation you ask for one.

The staff were incredibly friendly and got to know us quite well over the stay.

Breakfast is OK and included in the priceso that should save people a few $'s. It is a continental breakfast so if you want hot food you will have to eat out.

There is a free internet terminal in the hotel which is handy for checking out restaurants, activities and of course the weather (other hotels we dtayed at charged $10 an hour).

From reading reviews of other hotels it appears that they charge $10 a day parking and this is off site. This is where the Comfort Inn really excells. The parking is free (a massive car park) so if you are planning to be out and about in the car this hotel is an excellent choice.

The location is right in the middle of Clifton Hill (the Sky Wheel was outside our room). Some will like this, others won't. Remember that the bottom of Clifton Hill is right opposite the US Falls, so for us it was the ideal location and at least there were things to do right outside the hotel door - there is only so long you can look at the Falls!

My rating is based upon quality and price. If you are looking for spacious clean rooms, car parking, breakfast and 'in the middle of it' I don't think you will be disappointed.

This hotel was perfect for our stay with 2 children. There was a pool, the staff was great and very caring. They ask you if you are having a good stay every chance they get, rooms were clean (although not all of them have good views-ours was of an outside wall so ask while booking if the view is important to you) and the breakfast was the best I ever saw. So much variety! And staff was constantly refilling and cleaning. Also the biggest breakfast room ever! The best thing though is the location. Parking is an issue in Niagara so by staying here, you park when you arrive, don't pay for parking and don't need to touch your car again until you leave. The Tim Horton's right next door is also very convenient. A short walk to the falls and right next to restaurants and attractions on Clifton Hill and on Victoria ave as well. Right next door to Ripley's museum (our favorite) and the view of the Skywheel at night is beautiful (some rooms are right by it). Will stay here every time we return...

Weekend of April 25th - 27th

Last year we stayed at the Quality Inn, which is located across the parking lot from this hotel. It was ok but we had a few problems. This year we decided to book the Comfort Inn; it was a few dollars more but it was worth it.
When I booked online on the hotel website I made a few requests and they were all met when we checked in. The front desk reception staff were excellent. I had read on this site that they had some rooms with queen size beds and when I asked them about this, they checked and said our room had queens already.
Our room had a balcony which was really nice, it overlooked the mini putt course in front of the hotel. The only complaint we would have was that they should have 'black-out' curtains on the windows...the ferris wheel lights are not turned off at night!!
We also enjoyed the hot tub, it was really nice. The pool was a good size too.
This hotel was clean, a good price and very convient - we would stay here again.

When we arrived, they were helpful because our airconditioner did not work. We were moved to the first room inside the door which exited to the strip, next to the Ferris Wheel. We had a very nice time. Everyone was nice and helpful.
