My girlfriend and I went to Niagara Falls for the weekend. I found Michael's inn online and as soon as I saw the virtual tours of the jacuzzi suites I knew this was the one! The rooms looked really tacky and I thought that would be a fun surprise for my girlfriend.

Pros:
- Bubble tub jacuzzi right in the room.
- Bed was not uncomfortable, clean linens and fluffy pillows.
- Lots of extra towels (you'll need them!)
- Cheap price compared to the other jacuzzi suites in other hotels nearby.
- Very close to the falls. You could see the American falls from the balcony and both the falls were just a short walk away. Niagara River right across the street.
- Quiet area at night....sort of.
- Free parking!

Cons:
- The people upstairs were having sex so loud that we could not concentrate on our own quiet night in! lol
- The heater in the room made loud noises
- The shower was so small that you couldn't bend down to pick up the soap if you dropped it.
- Even though we asked for a non-smoking room, our room smelled very strongly of cigarettes.
- THe floor was all wet from the tub and the ceiling showed signs of water leakage from above.

Conclusion:
Would I go back? I'm not sure. Although I would like to try out their other "themed" rooms. I liked it better than my girlfriend did. I would recommend trying it out atleast once for the fun of it.

Just stayed there this past weekend for the third time in three years. It's right across the border at the end of Rainbow Bridge and close to Fallsview Casino. It was clean and all we needed for only $78 a night. Certainly not a five star, but everything worked, staff was attentive and most importantly as I said clean. Would highly recommend it and plan on staying there every year for our annual gambling trips.

The staff were very friendly and courteous. Our window rattled a little so we put a chair against it. It was off season and they upgraded our room. They heat with boilers so we could hear a bubbling sound - like we had a jacuzzi or acquarium in the room. We were on the same floor as the pool which was great. Nice pool, nice hot-tub. Sauna wasn't working. Nice gym with T.V. Walking distance to the Hershey store. Close to the bridge. Decent hotel for the money. Preferred it to the Ramada Coral.

Micheal's Inn By The Falls is about a 10 minute walk away from the Falls and neighboring attractions making your choice to leave your car behind an easy one to make. However, the Inn is old and has that "motor inn" feeling and look.
To their credit our 2 double bed room was very clean and the staff was extremely helpful and polite. The specialty rooms were nicer with balconies overlooking the river.
I would choose the Comfort Inn over Micheal's if a budget hotel is what you are looking for.
