My girlfriend and I stayed at this charming B&B for one night.
We stayed in the Gaugian room. It was large, newly painted in purple and had a huge attached bathroom. The room was immaculate and the bed was really comfortable. The windows overlooked the Niagara gorge and the room was very well lit.

Helena, the hostess, is fun and hospitable. She gave us recommendations of places to go and things to do. She made us a great breakfast the following morning and we had a great conversation. Before we left, she also gave us tips on what wineries she prefers.

The location of the place is decent (most B&Bs are on this street)- about a 10 minute walk to the falls and a little more to Clifton Rd or the casino. But it was snowy and cold when we were there, so we drove.

Would very strongly recommend and definitely go back again!

I just got back from a month trip to canada. On my travels found the lions head bed and breakfast. Think if i hadnt the trip would of been over a long time before. Helena is fantastic and without her things would of been so different. she'll go out of her way to make your holiday the best it can be. The lions head is a beautiful place, with each room different. Each morning we were given a gorgeous breakfast and never the same one. And with it only being ten minutes away from the falls and really in the middle of all the attractions its just a great place. If i needed help with anything helena was there and gave us things to do (walking the niagara gorge was the highlight of the holiday which we didnt know about) It will just make your holiday. Deffinately recommend here, its a place and people you'll never forget.

Only stayed one night at the Lion's Head, but wished it had been longer. Our room was beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean and had a view of the gorge. The breakfast was delicious.
Innkeeper Helena was the perfect hostess - very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. We can recommmned the Lion's Head without any hesitation.

We recently returned from a trip to Niagra Falls and our hostess, Helena, at the Lions Head Bed and Breakfast was instrumental in making our stay so enjoyable. Her establishment is in a beautifully appointed historic home within easy walking distance of the falls. The breakfasts were delicious and in four days none of the menus were repeated, even the juices. She was a good listener as well as an interesting conversationalist and always took time to visit with her guests at the breakfast table each morning. Having lived in the area for quite some time she was able to share interesting perspectives which cannot be obtained in a guidebook. She provided helpful information each morning to make our day go smoothly and was a wonderful resource for restaurants, sights to visit, winery tours, etc. The bed in our 3rd floor room was incredibly comfortable and the accomodations were very roomy and complete. All in all, our three day/four night stay was great and we will surely return if our travels bring us back to the area. She was surely the "hostess with the mostest" on our two week vacation.
