This is my fourth time staying in a bed and breakfast, and this was by far the most rewarding experience I have had thus far. Helena, the hostess is great!

From the moment my friends and I set foot in Helena's beautiful bed and breakfast, we knew we had entered a very special place!! We were warmly greeted and shown our quarters, which in our case, being 3 friends traveling together, was the French Quarters Suite. This suite was the entire third floor of the bed and breakfast and was very comfortable, luxurious and spacious. Helena made us feel right at home with her attention to detail and her friendliness. After a delicious breakfast the following morning, she got right to business sharing her knowledge of the area and giving us tips on how to optimize our short time in the Niagara Falls area. Besides being a wonderful cook, she is a fountain of information and quite an interesting person! I will highly recommend the Lions Head to any of my friends or family who would be travelling in the area.

Thank you for your candid reviews. My husband and I have visited 12 Bed and Breakfast, within the past five years. Our two nights stay at the Lions Head B & B, will leave a lasting impression. The French Quarter Suite was spacious, clean and comfortable. Helena's conversations were very engaging. She is an excellent hostess, deserving of our accolades. A true gourmet, our breakfasts were outstanding. The success of our trip is directly contributed to the fine suggestions that we choose to take. Kobe burgers at Wolfgang Puck's, sight seeing at the Buddhist Temple (the statue in the picture is more than 40 feet tall) and fine dining in Niagara on the Lake, just to name a few. I hate to be redundant here but Helena and her B&B are a gem. We spent our honeymoon at the Lion's Head B&B and couldn't have been happier. Here is a list of benefits to staying at the Lion’s Head B&B:

Helena is informative and has quality recommendations for everything you can think of: restaurants, entertainment and shopping. Better than most Concierges’ in high price hotels.

I wish I could say more... STAY HERE! Even if I was going to see a show at the Shaw Festival, I would stay at Lion’s Head and drive the 15 minutes to Niagara-on-the-Lake. It’s worth it. Helena will give you the special weekend that you are looking for. If the reason you came to Niagara was to treat yourself to a luxurious, romantic, comfortable getaway then look no further. This is it.
