Our stay at the Courtyard was not the best. We upgraded to a two room suite since we have 3 kids. The rooms seemed fine and we were glad we could stay up after we put the kids to bed. When we got up in the morning to shower we found that the bath tub was full of hair. The kids were still sleeping so we could not use the only phone that worked in the two rooms without waking them up. So...I had to clean the hair out of the shower. I then found hair on our towels. Disgusting! I called the front desk and the response was "oh sorry." That was it. Nothing else! Really disappointed since we are Marriott people.

We also purchased the tour package ($400) at the hotel and in it we were given tickets to ride the ferris wheel. Our youngest is 5 and we were told that he could ride free (under 6). We went at night with the kids so they could see the lights, knowing it was going to push them a little to be up so late. We stood in line to trade in our free tickets for real tickets. Then stood in line to go on the ride. Finally got to the gate and we were told that our son actually did need a ticket. So we had to get out of our line and stand in the ticket line again! There we had to purchase our son a ticket (only $6, put still we had already paid $400) and then do the line for the ride again. We did not get back to the hotel until after 11pm. Be warned...you need a ticket for the ferris wheel if your children are over the age of 3!

All in all, we are not complainers. So we did have a nice trip. Not sure if I would stay here again.

Just got back from our stay (wife and I) at this hotel. We got the 2 night package with dining voucher,two all-u-can eat breakfasts and free pass for shuttle. Nice package but beware of total price when you check out. Alot of high taxes there. I didn't like that they charged me $30.00 for parking and then taxed that too with $5.00 in taxes just for parking. Total tax for weekend with Hotel and parking was $55.00. I just thought that was alittle steep. All in all the Hotel was nice and very clean, staff was friendly, room was clean and the whirlpool tub was alot of fun. Maid service was nice. The hotel dining at "The Keg" was pricey but food was GREAT. Get the Keg steak...WOW..The all you can eat breakfast was super. Falls and attractions are all within walking distance, TGIF's was next door, you can use your $45.00 dining voucher there or at the hotel. With the price of everything there it won't get you far. Two steak dinners for me and the wife was about $90.00. It is a great place to stay, the hotel info desk helped me and the wife find a local walmart and shopping area away from the tourist area (average price for a bottle of coke was $3.00 to $3.50) so we went to the walmart which was only 10 mins away and bought a six pack of pepsi for $2.97. Stay out of the Minemart down the street from the hotel. Bag of chips and bottle of pepsi was $9.03 then the cashier charged us another dollar for paying in USD. Again the Hotel was great, just bring lots of money better yet use your credit/debit card.

We were very happy with out stay here. The only flaw was the room above us made alot of noise, but it only came to our attention 2 or 3 times. Other than that our stay here was fantastic. The hotel was a decent price. The hotel staff was very friendyl, even upgrading our room at no charge! The room was very clean, and the cleaning staff did a great job day to day. The hotel is only a few blocks from the falls, and right smack in the middle of all the restaurant and attractions. It was only a five minute walk to either of the 2 casinos also. The restaurant in the hotel also had great few at a reasonable price.

Just came back from the Courtyard! Had a great stay. Really a nice hotel. Plus , got a fanastic off season, midweek package from the hotel web site. Package included buffet breakfast for two each morning and a dinner voucher for the KEG restaurant on site. Food was outstanding. Also, used hotel fitness room and indoor pool. Both very nice. Staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. Rooms typical, but very spacious. One other great benefitis that hotel has a shuttle that takes you to the Falls area and casinos-- runs a complete loop every 30 minutes. Saves a lot of walking. My only complaint is they charge a $10 a day parking fee, but with various taxes added on amounts to about $12 Other than that, hotel was a gem. Can't wait to go back.
